Porous Pipe is part of LBS Worldwide Ltd, trading as Fresh2o Global, an ISO9001 quality-accredited manufacturing
and distribution company based in the North West of the UK. Established in 1969, the company manufactures a
comprehensive range of Porous Pipe Soaker Hose for both the commercial and hobby irrigation markets. The
range includes the Original Porous Pipe™, Micro Bore and Pro Bore. Bespoke pipe is also manufactured for many
uses including aeration of fish ponds and foundation watering.
Porous Pipe is made from a large proportion of recycled raw materials to ISO9001 quality standards and is sold in over 15
countries. A high proportion of this product finds its way into ‘own brand’ formats. It is one component of a wide range of
Irrigation Solutions that are becoming more and more crucial in solving global agricultural and food production challenges
into the next century.
With 5 extruders on-line, Porous Pipe has an annual production capacity of
40 million feet / 12 million metres of pipe. The company has a program of
regular process and flow rate controls to ensure that it continuously meets
the product specification and requirements of strict total quality standards.
The associated extensive retail point-of-sale package includes attractive
product packaging, a variety of display units and also customer education
product leaflets. An in-house design function enables Porous Pipe to offer
bespoke packaging where required.
