SigmaNet - Latvian NREN, the Academic Network
Laboratory of the Institute of Mathematics and
Computer Science, University of Latvia.
SigmaNet connects Latvian academic institutions to
the European academic network GÉANT3 as well as
develops and maintains Latvian Academic Network.
SigmaNet provides to its constituency:
• Grid resources
• server collocation services
• e-mail
• web hosting
• large data storage facilities
• virtual private servers
• security incident response.
SigmaNet also actively participates in TERENA task
forces TF-CSIRT and TF-Storage and the
BalticGrid-II project.
