Brain Care Centre would like to invite you to participate in the 4th annual Brain Matters Charity Golf
Tournament on August 26, 2016 at the Mill Woods Golf Club.
Brain Care Centre is a not for profit organization that provides many different services including: support services,
counseling, electronic device training and occupational therapy to persons who have sustained an acquired brain injury
at no cost to the client. The proceeds from the golf tournament will go to support our specialized concussion education
and support program. Brain Care Centre has developed a comprehensive program that addresses the pressing issue
of mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) in our community. Brain Care Centre offers support services to those
experiencing post concussion syndrome, and at this time there is a five month wait list of clients looking to join our
concussion program. This golf tournament will help BCC to create awareness of the need for sustainable funding and
allow Brain Care Centre to expand prevention education programming for youth to include minor football, and to add a
full time staff member dedicated to offering support to those affected by concussion.
We encourage you to share in this goal by participating in this year’s Brain Matters Charity Golf Tournament. This is a
fun golf tournament which will include a light breakfast, 18 holes of golf, followed by lunch, awards and prizes as well
as a gift to each participant just for registering to play. Enclosed is a tournament registration form, Please complete and
