The cultural Capital of Andhra Pradesh,
Rajahmundry is the birthplace of poet
Nannayya, the first poet of Telugu. Famous
for the mighty river Godavari, there are
numerous ghats and parks along the river's
banks which make for great tourist spots.
Primarily a pilgrimage centre, due to the
presence of a large number of temples, the
city hosts the festival of Godavari
Pushkaralu every 12 years which attracts
lakhs of devotees. Located on the River Bay
Road near Goutami Ghat in Rajahmundry,
the River Bay Water Amusement Park offers
a picturesque view of the Godavari River.
The best time to visit this place is between
January and February, as the weather is just
perfect to enjoy and have fun. And, after you
are done with all your fun-filled activities,
you can relax and rejuvenate yourself at
