This will result in a more than 2,000 precision machining jobs in need of replacement. If trend goes uncorrected, the regional demand will outpace the anticipated pipeline supply by two to one. Octorara Area High School has developed an internship program with Dutchland based on Career Pathways. Pequea Valley High School has also partnered with Dutchland to incorporate real-world experiences into teaching of STEM skills. High Concrete piloted Co-Op program this year with Garden Spot High School. This will be accomplished through up scaling of adult and out of school youth and the development of a pipeline for in school youth.
