The History of the Fieldcote Music Series: SERIES SPONSORS 2014 From Gazebo to Hay Wagon to Bandshell In 1995, the “Music at the Gazebo” Series began in front of Ancaster’s Old Town Hall. Six years later, it was relocated to Fieldcote where the initial concerts were held on a shaky, creaky, hay wagon! In 2001, diehard Fieldcote volunteers and fundraisers provided the necessary physical and financial resources to construct the current band shell. The Fieldcote Music Series celebrates a high calibre of talent with musicians holding local, national and international reputations. FMS thrives on the passion of its volunteers and the donations from private and corporate sponsors.
