THE LEGENDARY DARK SOUND
Zildjian cymbals are known for their dark, warm sound that harkens
back to the original K cymbals developed by Zildjian in 19th Century
Turkey. We use elaborate hammering and lathing techniques to work the
Zildjian alloy into a versatile cymbal. K family cymbals are the choice of
drummers from genres as diverse as jazz, country and rock.

Constantinople cymbals were originally
designed by Armand Zildjian to be the
ultimate jazz cymbal. Armand wanted to
take the richness and full-bodied sound
of the K Constantinople orchestral
cymbals and apply it to jazz rides.

Reminiscent of cymbals from the
30’s through the 60’s, yet distinctly

music, the A Avedis collection is a
vintage recreation of the timeless
sound and feel heard and played on

the 20th century. Named in honor
of Avedis Zildjian III, the father
of the modern American cymbal,
