MINUTES RMVTA Meeting August 11, 2016 Submitted by Richard “Kickstand” Bush, Secretary President Gloria Messier called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Bernie and Elaine’s granddaughter, Joslyn, joined us for the meeting. We celebrated Linda’s birthday with cake and ice cream and red roses were presented to Linda as a thank you from the club. Old Business None. New Business Gloria presented the club with earnings from the Sun BBQ for a total of $84.43. During our cooking at Sun, we received a special invitation to cook again for them during their 2017 Harley Davidson Demo Rides on August 27. The owner of Sun talked with Tim about how well we were doing and asked him to see if we would come back. A motion was made, seconded and passed that we help our sponsor with this. Officer’s Reports Secretary: The July meeting minutes as captured by Richard were approved by all. Treasurer: Brian Boberick reported $4,847.95 in Checking. Committee Reports Finance: Done for the year. Floyd talked about his support during the Boulder Ironman Triathlon. Evans would be closed due to a bike ride on the date of her ride. Before her disclosure we were thinking, ‘Kudos to Lisa for doing such a thorough job with her ride planning!’ Newsletter: The newsletter was published. Debbie did another great job. Deadline for submissions is the 23rd of the month. Website and Webmaster: There were 17,027 hits for the month of July. July 26 and 27 were the days with the most hits. The busiest times were at 4 PM and 8 AM with the Ride Center, Newsletter and Photos being accessed most. Germany was the top country with 646 hits. 311 Rides: Past Rides Pikes Peak, July 16 Guanella Pass, July 23. Lisa had to reboot her Spyder along the way. Dinner Ride to Piccolo’s, July 28. Sun Honda BBQ Training, July 30. President’s Picnic at SUN, Aug. 6. No club members attended the Picnic. 50/50 Linda collected $35.00 with $17.00 going to the club.
