At the height of his major market media sales tenure in Toronto, Ontario, Scully was
accountable for a 1.3-million dollar account list and was poised for a Retail Sales Manager
position in his imminent future.

During his event sponsorship tenure, he prospected and closed several major corporate
partners of national scale.
As an event host, he has accumulated awards and accreditation such as International Finals
Rodeo Contract Act Showcase Announcer Champion, one of two Canadians carded to
announce in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and with Feld Entertainment’s
Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam monster truck series.
Contribution and Leadership
When his hometown of Erin, Ontario launched a Community Radio Station, Joe Scully was
elected as Chair of the Programming Committee, and served on several other committees for
a three year term during the Station’s preparation and first year of operation.
With a passion for both the Sport of Rodeo and politics, Scully has been a member of the
Board of Directors of the Ontario Rodeo Association for nine of the past eleven years, serving
as President of the 280-member and $60,000-operating non-profit Association for the past
three years.
