ORGANIZE/COACH: Training is comprised of: (free play); warm‐up; activities I & II; small‐sided matches and cool‐down.
Principles of Play should be considered and woven throughout the session.
Adjusting Speed, Space, Opposition controls the intensity of an activity.
Coach using sound methodology (P.I.E., Say, Show, Do, Review, etc.) to increase success and develop players.
DEVELOPMENT: Player’s improved competence within match environment (finishing; short/long play; short combined with long play; ability to keep possession; risk; transition).
OBSERVE and EVALUATE performance and select elements for the next training session.

Began coaching career in 1990 as U6 Boys assistant coach in region 87.
Became Region 87 board member in 1992 Moved to Region 84 in 1996, no board position available
Joined Region 84 board in 1997, accepted first available opening.
Coached all boys level up through U19 and all girls levels through U16.
Coached three teams, U19, U12, and U10 in 2006.

– Matches that DO NOT have a neutral referee (center) assigned by 9:00 PM two days prior are subject to cancellation
• No referee may sign up for their own teams match until after 9:00 PM two days prior to match
• If a full & qualified 3 person referee team, which may come from those teams involved cannot be signed up by 5:00 PM, 1 day prior to the match then the match will be a forfeit in the medal round. (Stands as game not played in seed round)
• Teams should still scrimmage if a match is officially cancelled. Scrimmage results will not count towards standings.

– Games may be rescheduled with the approval of the Area Director if deemed to be in the best interests of the program.
• Reasons may include
– Field closure
– School testing preventing players from attending game
– Extreme weather conditions, e.g. heat
– Coach unavailability due to unscheduled work commitments
• Cancelled Game Reschedules
– Due to field closure
• Host regions will provide reschedule date / location based on resources
• Seed round games must be rescheduled to be played by the end of seed round of play
• Medal round games must be rescheduled to be played by the date of the last regularly scheduled game of the season
– Due to any other reason
• Coaches will work out mutually agreeable dates and get both regions approval to reschedule.
• Coaches must contact host region scheduler, not the area scheduler, and host region Referee administrator to notify them of reschedule effort.
• Host region scheduler will provide approved date, time, and field for rescheduled game as agreed to by coaches and regions to area scheduler with at least five day notice.
