At Hackensack University Medical Center, our aim is to provide you with excellent service.
Below are options for visitors dining in and around HackensackUMC:
The Aquarium Café — The Aquarium Cafe is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is located off the main entrance of the
Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and offers light bistro fare, from gourmet coffees and teas to
salads, sandwiches, desserts, and snacks.
The Second Street Café — The Second Street Cafe is open from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from
1-3 a.m., Monday through Friday, and limited hours Saturday and Sunday. It is located on the
ground floor of the Pavilion building and offers a wide array of foods for every appetite.
The Lobby Café — The Lobby Cafe is open from 6 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and
7 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Located off the main entrance on the first floor Link
Lobby, it offers light bistro fare, from gourmet coffees and teas to salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
The Plaza Café — The Plaza Cafe kiosk is open from 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Located in the Palm Court on the ground level in the Medical Plaza, it offers light fare from soup,
salads, sandwiches, coffee and teas.
Our on-site cafés can be accessed by the exterior entrances at their respective buildings.
Vending — Vending machines are located in the Second Street dining area and various locations
throughout the medical center. They are available 24 hours.
