Message from David Sanzari
Over the last seven decades Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has built
a diverse portfolio of successful real estate properties. It seems
only fitting that we mark our landmark 70th anniversary year
by announcing plans to further expand our portfolio with the
development of a new dual-branded hotel at Glenpointe. This
incredible hospitality property represents a new chapter in our
company’s history and we couldn’t be more excited.
There’s even more news to share in this issue of News & Notes.
Our commercial portfolio always is a hub of activity, and
recent months have seen a significant number of new leases
and renewals, a sampling of which can be found in Comings &
Growings. You’ll also read about a key addition to our senior
management team, and learn more about a wonderful award
our company received from the Hackensack Upper Main
Alliance.
As always, we welcome your comments and feedback.
Sincerely,
David Sanzari, President/CEO
Marriott at Glenpointe Ranked Tops in Event Satisfaction Survey
“We are thrilled and most grateful for all of our wonderful
meeting and event planners who provided us with this
recognition,” said Keith Shopnick, General Manager. “The
Marriott at Glenpointe has a very passionate, creative and
dedicated team that consistently anticipates the needs of our
guests, and delivers top-notch service. Our team – from the
sales and culinary hosts to event operations – is committed
to making sure every client and attendee remembers the
brilliant experience they had with us. We strive to be the best,
and collectively, do whatever it takes to make that happen.”
The Marriott at Glenpointe
The Marriott at Glenpointe recently was ranked among the top
2 percent out of 358 Marriott hotels nationwide in the brand’s
year-to-date Event Satisfaction Survey (ESS), achieving an
overall score of 87.1 percent. The 350-room hotel and conference
center is part of the mixed-use Glenpointe complex in Teaneck.
The ESS program collects feedback from event planners and
meeting organizers who conduct events throughout Marriott’s
hotel portfolio. Properties are scored in several categories such
as sales, planning, event service, facilities, food and beverage,
and overall billing. A high ESS ranking reflects consistency
in outstanding customer satisfaction for events held at a
Marriott hotel.
