Sheboygan Falls
Chamber-Main Street Annual Meeting
Twenty-five years ago, Sheboygan Falls became one of the inaugural
Main Street communities in the State of Wisconsin. And twenty-five years
later, Sheboygan Falls is considered to be one of the best Main Street
communities in the State! You are invited to join the celebration on Thursday,
April 4th at Catalunya Restaurant. Social Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., Dinner
at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Program and Entertainment by the Sheboygan
Falls High School Show Choir. Jim Engle, Director of the Wisconsin Main
Street Program, will be our guest speaker. The NEW Sheboygan Falls
Chamber-Main Street website designed by CMS Member, Dawn Hogue of
Aurora’s Light Web Services, will be revealed and, of course, we will honor
and recognize deserving Sheboygan Falls businesses and volunteers who
have made a difference in this community and organization. It will truly be a
night to remember!!!
Please RSVP to 920-467-6206 or [email protected] by
March 22 and indicate your dinner choice. If you did not receive an
invitation, we apologize for this oversight. An invitation is included in
this newsletter and we would be pleased if you could join us.
Business ‘N Brews At Odyssey Fun Center
Several CMS members gathered at Odyssey Fun Center on Wednesday,
February 20th. Thank you to the staff at Odyssey Fun Center for the excellent
hospitality, food and beverages. Business ‘N Brews is an awesome opportunity
for CMS members to network and get to know each other. Our next event
will take place in May at Sunset Hills Golf Course & Driving Range. Details
will be released at a later date.
Shop Falls First
Saturday, May 4th is “Spring Into Falls”. Last year Darryl Ottman of The
Sewing Machine Shop provided Shop Falls First t-shirts to business owners
and their staff. Because we have many new businesses and staff that may
not have Shop Falls First t-shirts, Darryl is willing to provide up to 20 more
t-shirts. Just contact Darryl at 920-467-3135 with the quantity and sizes you
need. Then plan to wear your t-shirts on Saturday, May 4th as we spread
our message to SHOP FALLS FIRST!

7:30am at Community Bank & Trust. CMS Member and AdviCoach, Jerry Baltus, will
help us develop a better understanding of behavior styles and present us with tips for
recognizing and improving our communication skills.
CMS Membership Renewal Time
THANK YOU to the 201 Businesses and Individuals who invested in Sheboygan
Falls Chamber-Main Street in 2012/2013. These partners contributed nearly $38,000
to support our programs. The Sheboygan Falls Chamber-Main Street Board of Directors
encourages all members to renew their membership with CMS for 2013/2014.
Membership Renewal letters will be sent out in early April. A list of benefits and services
will be provided with your renewal notice. As always, we welcome any opportunity to
discuss membership options with current and potential new members. If you have
any questions, please feel free to contact any Board Member or the Chamber-Main
Street office at 920-467-6206 or email [email protected]
CMS Receives Main Street Tech Visit
During the biggest snowstorm of the year February 26-28, Ben Muldrow of Arnett
Muldrow & Associates of South Carolina, visited CMS for a Main Street Tech Visit
on Branding. Ben met with Mayor Randy Meyer, various committee members, board
members and business owners to gain a better understanding of what Sheboygan
Falls is all about. A wrap-up session was presented to the Board of Directors. During
his presentation, Ben complimented CMS on our marketing efforts, use of logos
and tag lines and, most importantly, on our beautiful collection of restored historic
buildings. Ben stated that he has worked in 30 different states and he believes that
Sheboygan Falls may be the best Main Street community he has ever seen! We are
anxious to begin implementing the images, fonts and logos he created for us.
