Message from the Chair
Trick or Treat! It is time to carve your jack-o-lanters because it is Halloween! Whether it is scary or cute who doesn’t
love a carved pumpkin, right? It seems once we hit Halloween the remainder of the year really starts to fly and we are
toasting to a new one before we know it. So make sure you mark your calendars now to come and enjoy the last two
SCC-STL events of this calendar year, the officer installation (November 3rd) and the holiday party (December 2nd).
Last month we had our Annual Scientific Symposium and it was a huge success. We give a big thank you to all of our
speakers who came out and gave fantastic and very informative presentations. Please visit our new chapter website
(www.stlouisscc.org) to see the pictures from this great event.
The officer installation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 5:30-7:30 at Moolah Lanes (see cover for
details). Only $15/person, that includes bowling and shoe rental. Come and see your 2012 St. Louis Chapter officers
installed!
Even though we have our running officers for 2012, if you would like to volunteer and help with coordinating some of

and the event was a huge success.

Another date to mark on your calendars is SCC Midwest Chapter TEAMWORKS 2012
on March 21, 2012 from 12-6 PM at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in
Rosemont, IL (Chicago) with the social night on March 20, 2012. This is the premier
industry trade show for the personal care industry in Mid-America. For questions or for

To my friends in the St. Louis Chapter,
As many of you know, I am relocating to San
Antonio, Texas for a new opportunity with DPT
Laboratories. Consequently, I will be transferring to
the Southwest Chapter. I’ve truly enjoyed my time
with the St. Louis Chapter as both a member and an
officer, and I have many fond memories. Since I will
still be involved in the SCC, I am sure that I will bump
into some of you from time to time. I wish you all the
best in your future endeavors.
