About
During the 12th and 15th of October 2016, Romexpo is organizing the 6th edition of
ExpoEnergiE - International trade fair for renewable energy, conventional energy,
equipment and technologies for the oil and natural gas industry, in the C1 Pavilion
of the Romexpo Exhibition Centre.
The event brings together the field’s most important players to exhibit their latest
products and technologies thus offering the visitors the possibility to assess the
market, to buy products or services and to negotiate directly with suppliers.
ExpoEnergiE is organized in the same period with the Bucharest International
Technical Fair – TIB and the Invention and Innovation Show - Inventika.

The fields’ statistics
 In the first 6 months of 2015, compared to 2014, there has been an increase in
the share of wind power plants, from 9.01% in 2014 to 12,20% in 2015 and also
an increase in the share of photovoltaic power plants, from 2,56% in 2014 to
3,18% in 2015. The Hydro production has also recorded an increase from 28,67%
in 2014 to 30,70% in 2015. There has been a decrease in coal production, from
27,65% in 2014 to 25,60% in 2015; in hydrocarbon production, from 13,56% to
10,39% and in nuclear production, from 17,81% in 2014 to 17,11% in 2015.
 The total energy demand in 2030 will be with aproximately 50% larger than in
2003 while the oil demand will encrease by 46%. The known oil supplies that
currently exist can sustain the current consumption level only until 2040 and the
natural gas resources until 2070. All this happens when the world’s pit coal
resources are enough for another 200 years even if the mining process increases.
The predictions indicate an economic growth which will entail a larger
consumption of energetic resources.
 In terms of the structure of primary energy consumption worldwide, the
evolution and reference prognosis made by the International Energy Agency (IEA)
highlights a faster increase in the share of renewable resources and natural gas,
for the 2010-2020 period.
