Assabet Valley Chambersingers is a
small ensemble selected from the Assabet Valley
Mastersingers. The Chambersingers will perform
madrigals and motets from all periods, as well as
Broadway show tunes and vocal Jazz standards.
C.M. Judge, Teaching Artist is an intermedia
artist who has facilitated over 100 public art projects.
She enjoys bringing people together to create
meaningful public art for their community.
Cambodian Classical Dance Students from

guides from South High share extraordinary stories
of immigrants, the industrial revolution, and success

Chuck & Mud and the Hole in the Dam Band
These Worcester favorites are entering their 37th year
of performing together! (They received the Key to the
City of Worcester in 2004, but still have not figured
out how to open it!)
Crocodile River Music delivers an exuberant
African Fusion concert as it brings African and
African-influenced music and dance to the audience!
Darlin’ Corey is the most recent and exciting
new project for Matt Shipman and Erica Brown.
Accompanied by fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitars,
they put their unique spin on an Americana mix of
bluegrass, old time, folk and original songs.
Dezrah the Strange is a magician, sideshow
performer, escape artist and general weirdo from
Central MA. He has performed everywhere from
Fortune 500 companies, and Universities to burlesque
shows and backyard BBQ’s. See him at First Night!
The Gizmo Guys are a comedy juggling act, but
they are much more! Touring worldwide since 1987,
The Gizmo Guys have appeared before more than a
million people in 2,000+ live performances, as well
as countless others on TV. Their act includes worldclass juggling skills presented in a series of original
routines that will amaze and amuse!
Grace Morrison is an amazingly talented singer/
songwriter and First Night favorite! Winner, “Grass
Roots” Award, New England Music Awards (2015).
Greater Worcester Opera is a company of
professionally trained local artists who perform
Broadway, American Songbook, operetta and opera
music in both concert and fully staged theatrical
productions. They will be presenting “The Story and
Songs of Camelot’ at First Night.
The Hip Swayers Described by the Worcester
Telegram & Gazette as “busy and popular”, the Hip
Swayers have performed in venues and on radio
from Quebec to New Orleans and on both the east
and left coasts. They have opened for Paul Rishell
& Annie Raines and were featured guests on a live
broadcast of the Blue Plate Special on Knoxville radio
station WDVX. Hypnotist/Comedian Jim Spinnato Join
Hypnotist/Comedian Jim Spinnato for a fun-filled
performance of comedy, audience participation and
hypnosis. “Sleeping” was never this funny! (Parents
please note: Jim’s show at Jillian’s is “Rated PG”.
His Tuckerman Hall show is “Rated G”).

Li Liu was born in Shenyang, China and started
learning acrobatics at the age of six. She has
toured all over the world with The Liaoning
State Circus, Zirkus Knie in Switzerland, Circus
Roncali in Germany, and Ringling Brothers
Barnum & Bailey Circus in the US, where she
has resided since 2003. Winner, Gold Medal,
Cirque de Demain circus competition (Paris).
Linda Peck pops in as Mary Poppins, transforming First Night into a
London Street. Join her as she mixes magic, balloon umbrellas and a bit of
her zany psychology!
Lori Diamond & Fred Abatelli Fans of Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan
and Joni Mitchell, quickly become fans of Lori & Fred as they explore Jazz,
Acoustic, Folk, Pop, Gospel and blues influences and gently infuse them
into their own, highly original style. Five-time Winner, Worcester Music
Awards; Pulse Magazine’s BEST CD (2015).
Mark Mandeville & Raianne Richards have resonated with the
lover of Americana, old country, and harmony singing for more than a
decade. The duo crafts commanding melodies and poignant, introspective
lyrics backed with delicate arrangements on ukulele, clarinet, guitar and
banjo. Their recent album Hard Times & Woes has won rave reviews.
Matt Roberts: Clean Comedy Magic Matt’s award-winning,

The McInerney School of Irish Step Dance is home to numerous regional
and national champions as well as several world qualifiers.Their dancers have
performed with world renowned Irish performers including the Chieftains, Cherish
the Ladies, Teada, Lunasa, the Clancy Brothers, and Eileen Ivers.
Ms. Marci & The Lovesick Hounds Ms. Marci has performed with
blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll legends Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Hubert Sumlin,
Bo Diddley, and Pinetop Perkins, among others. Winner, Woo-Tube “Video of
The Month” for “Boogie Woman”, performed with The Lovesick Hounds.
Mychael David An intimate night featuring Mychael’s original hits along
with some of your favorite country songs. Mychael’s hit song “Nothin” spent
34 weeks on national radio where it topped at #1 on The Indie World Charts.
Neptune’s Car is an acoustic duo from Massachusetts and New
Hampshire who play original, Contemporary Folk music. Their three

Peter Griggs: 500 Years of Music for Guitar Peter is a musician and
composer from New York City who has presented more than 500 concerts
worldwide since 2002. His repertoire includes classical music of all periods, as
well as Flamenco, jazz, blues, Brazilian music and his own compositions.
Psychic Medium Deborah Livingston (with Katherine Glass)
As seen on WBZ news and TV show 6th Sense and Beyond, Deborah has
been gifted with the sacred gift of communication with the spirit world. Her

Effect” group will present an exciting and innovative Asian fusion dance
incorporating cultural performances from different regions within
Southeast Asia. This spectacular display begins with a traditional Chinese

relaxed performance of a traditional Vietnamese dance. Not to be missed!
Sweet Wednesday performs heartfelt and beautiful harmonies backed
