• Sri Ahobila Mutt was founded in 1398 CE
in Ahobilam in AndraPradesh
• Founded by Srimad Adivan SatakOpan at
the behest of Sri LakshmiNrisimha Himself
• Preserving the vedic tradition for the past
610 years…

Srimath Azhagiyasingar, the 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila
Muth, instructed a few Sri Matam Sishyas (disciples)
from the USA in 1994 to start an organization in the
US to connect the disciples among themselves and
to Sri Matam in India
•
Received a non-profit status (501(c) 3) from the IRS
in 1996/97
•
In 2001, in the holy place of Ahobilam, Dolai
Kannan’s Prathishtai was done His Holiness 45th
Jeer Himself
•
Srimath Azhagiyasingar (45th Jeer) did Aradhanam
to Dolai Kannan for a number of days in multiple
divya desams
•
Then Dolai Kannan made His maiden journey to the
United States and arrived here in March 2001
