Young at Heart will resume on Thursday,
August 18th at noon in Fellowship Hall. Our
speaker will be Carole Suzanne Jackson,
who will present a program about wellness
and massage, and the ways to maintain a
healthy lifestyle. Lunch is $5 and guests are
always welcome. Please make a
reservation by calling the church office by
Tuesday, August 16th.
GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare is a video/workbook/support
group type of class that will begin another
13-week cycle on Wednesday, August 24th
from 6:30 until 8:00 PM, following the
Wednesday Night Dinner. Attendees do not
have to be church members to participate. If
you have any questions or would like to
register for GriefShare, please contact

We love the sight and sounds of little ones
during our worship services. But, if anyone

the main Sanctuary.

ushers at each exit and also at the welcome
desk near the portico entrance.
Prayer Cards
If you have a prayer request you would like to
share with the congregation, please complete
a prayer request card from the pew rack and
give it to an usher during the announcements.
Or place it in the offering plate to be viewed by
the Pastoral Prayer Team. Please sign your
name and indicate if the request is confidential
or should be printed in next week’s bulletin.

ONE PRAYER CELEBRATION SERVICE
Thursday, August 4th at 7:00 PM
At the end of our 40 days of praying our
ONE prayer and asking God, “What do you
want your church to be?” we will come
together for worship and sharing on August
4th at 7:00 PM in the main Sanctuary to see
where God is leading us. Please join us for
this special time of reflection and celebration with special music and communion.

WHALE PODS ARE FILLING UP!
The Whale is almost here!! Due to many
generous donations, our Whale pods are
quickly filling up. There is still room for
clothing, books, and other smaller items;
however, we don’t have space for large
items such as furniture, mattresses, tube
TVs, etc. We are asking anyone who
wishes to donate furniture to hold on to it
until mid-September when we set-up the
gym. We will be happy to come by and pick
it up then. Thank you for your support!
HOSPITAL NOTIFICATIONS
Please let the church office know if you or
someone you know is in the hospital or
rehab. We are not notified by the facilities
as it is against privacy laws. This means we
are unaware of any illnesses without the
help of family and friends. Thank you!

SIT TOGETHER SUNDAYS
In celebration of families, children will sit in
services every 5th Sunday, and worship
with their families. The next “Sit Together
Sunday” is July 31st. There will be no
Sunday School; however, the nursery will
still be available for infants and toddlers.
MILITARY SUPPORT TEAM
The Red, White and Blue boxes filled with
toy soldiers have been placed at the three
entrances to the main Sanctuary by the
Military Support Team. Please take a
soldier to remind you to pray for our military
serving here and abroad. It is these brave
men and women who protect our freedom
each and every day. May God bless and
keep them always.
Please sign your name on the prayer request card and indicate if you wish to have the name printed in
the church bulletin. Names will be printed for three weeks unless we are notified of a change in status.
