It is perfectly suited for both, machining and grinding, hard or soft alloys within central coolant systems or stand-alone machines. The unique Blasocut high performance formulation ensures superb lubrification for all applications. Without the need to add performance enhancing additives, BC 35 will offer extremely long and stable sump life with guaranteed maximum process security. Blasocut Kombi is used as a water-miscible cutting fluid for grinding and rough machining. It is particularly effective in the grinding of all materials and for all forms of grinding such as form grinding, cylindrical grinding, surface grinding and centreless grinding. Suitable for light to heavy machining and grinding operations. Grinding and medium machining achievable with concentration of 3% and upwards. Description BC 25 is a chlorine free universal cutting fluid excelling on its high cutting performance as well as its improved rinsing behaviour which keeps machines clean. Due to its emulsion stability, BC 25 is very economical and long sump life keeps refilling and disposal costs minimized. Primary Light to medium machining. application Te s t s t r i p s pH measurement strips For easy and rapid determination of pH value. Water hardness measurement strips After brief immersion in water or cutting fluid, the hardness can readily be read off on the scale after one minute. The measurement range is between 5 and 25°dH. The measurement strips should not be dipped into flowing liquid. Nitrite measurement strips Our emulsions do not contain nitrite or nitrite releasing substances. If the measurement strip indicates nitrite, there is contamination. N.B. Not suitable for grin ding of carbides. It is characterized by its excellent cutting performance and outstanding rinsing and washing action, which will keep the machines clean. The consumption will be reduced due to its good run off behaviour. A high economic efficiency will result from the long emulsion and tool life. 2000 Universal is a cutting fluid for all cutting operations and materials, also for steels with high alloy content. It meets requirements for high surface quality and tool life. Suitable for light to heavy machining. Suitable for all machining operations and materials. Description 4000 Strong is a high-performance cutting fluid for heavy machining. It is Blaser’s most efficient water-miscible cutting fluid. It should be used when the lubricating performance of another Blasocut cutting fluid is not adequate. Due to its excellent lubricating properties, it can also replace neat cutting oils. Primary Very heavy machining, for application extremely dense and tough materials. Note: For the machining of mainly copper alloys, our products 2000 CF and 2000 Universal are also available with non-ferrous metal deactivator (MD). System cleaner Blasoclean B is an industrial machine cleaners, developed specially for cutting fluid systems and machine tools. Waylube oils We have our own waylube oils specially developed for our cutting fluids. Contact our specialists; they will be pleased to advise you. These products do not contain: nitrite, nitrite releasing substances, formaldehyde, formaldehyde releasing substances, heavy metals, secondary amines, diethanolamine, NDELA and/or nitrosamines, arsenic, silicones, polychlorinated biphenyls and terphenyls (PCB, PCT), TCDD, or other substances containing dioxins. 4 schwarz cyan magenta yellow TEXT Blaser Swisslube Kühlschmierstoffe ENGLISCH / FEY MARKETING-KOMMUNIKATION, CH-3400 BURGDORF 13 «Air Skimmy» Art. 9273 This removes tramp oil from water-miscible cutting fluids in small sumps which are difficult to access. The «Air Skimmy» permits the tramp oil to be extracted rapidly and easily after allowing the emulsion to settle. It is particularly suitable for emptying coolant sumps using the pneumatic maintenance free suction unit which is screwed on to a standard 207 litre or 50 litre drum. Equipment and devices C H L O R I N E Mineral oil-based cutting fluids Blasocut Equipment and devices The Jetmix ensures that an absolutely homogeneous emulsion is created. This homogeneity is not only achieved by the precise compounding of concentrate and water, but by means of shock waves (cavitation). Correct preparation – provided by the Jetmix – is a condition for full exploitation of the stability of the emulsion. Jetmix • Highest performance in various grades, with or without EP (Extreme Pressure) additives The refractometer is an essential device for simple and rapid measurement of the concentration of water-miscible cutting fluids. Application One to two drops of the liquid to be tested are placed on the glass surface of the prism and covered over with a plastic plate. It then is possible to read off the concentration easily through the integral eyepiece. The following versions are available: performance 5 7ºdH 15ºdH Hardness Tramp oil separation The emulsifier system used gives Blasocut very good tramp oil separation capacity. In this way, the negative effects from emulsifying oil are eliminated to a large extent. foaming action Calcium in the added water in combination with Blasocut form what are known as calcium soaps. These finely dispersed particles act as natural foam retardants. Blasocut Mineral oil-based cutting fluids «Jetmix» emulsion mixing units The products in the Blasocut range are mineral oil-based high-performance cutting fluids for virtually all machi ning operations, obtainable in chlorine free or chlorinated versions as desired. Vasco 1000 Vegetable oil-based cutting fluid Due to the particular properties of the natural ester, Vasco 1000 provides the highest cutting performance without the use of EP-additives containing chlorine. Comparison of basic properties: The efficiency of Vasco 1000 relies on the natural structure of its oil molecules. These molecules, in contrast to mineral oils, are polar and align themselves on the surface of the workpiece like small magnets. This produces a compact efficient lubricant film, providing distinct advantages when in contact with the workpiece and cutting tool, eg. considerably greater capacity for absorbing pressure. Maintenance Concentration It is not necessary to carry out preservation or control by means of chemicals. In order to guarantee operation of the emulsion/ solution, the concentration should not fall below the minimum levels. Regular removal of any tramp oil with a skimmer or by suction and the filtering of metal fines is sufficient to ensure that the emulsion will function correctly. Concentrations for use are: A minimum 0.5% emulsion or solution must be used for topping up. Pure water or pure concentrate should never be added to the emulsion/solution. In order to guarantee ideal operation of the cutting fluid, it is necessary to check the concentration regularly using the refractometer.
