Friend to Friend Winter/Spring 2013 Newsletter •Volume 10 friendsofkids.com • 314-275-7440 Survivors: The Future of Friends! Having celebrated our 20th Anniversary with our 2012 Fashion Show, Friends of Kids with Cancer is looking forward to 20 more years of friendship, smiles, and helping kids with cancer... be kids. Be sure to read the feature on page 3 to learn the stories of five survivors who could be the next generation of Friends leaders. We are so proud they have stayed connected to us. For some of them, treatment ended over ten years ago, and we are amazed that they continue to give back, and that they’re leading our Young Friends of Kids with Cancer group! “Friends made a difference in my life by making every day a little easier.”- Megan Hecht “I really developed a passion for helping kids going through some of the same things I did.”- Andy Cook 2 Our Mission 2013-2014 Board of Directors OFFICERS Rick Lommel, President Mary Mercurio, Vice President Tom Lynch, Vice President Jay Adams, Treasurer Mandy Drozda, Secretary Allen Brockman, Emeritus BOARD OF DIRECTORS Kris Arneson Marianne Bergamini Matt Biffignani Gary Bilder Don Brown Jonathan Burke *Peter Cohen Joe Curotto Chris Drier John Kijowski *Mary Jotte Cheryl Lawless Chuck McDonnal Kathy Manganaro Bob Nuelle *Larry Reimelt Margie Sedlack Ed Schmid Frank Schmidt *Ben Turec Jill Turec Matt White Mary Lynne Wilson *Terri Wurdack ADVISORY BOARD Dr. Robert Bergamini Dr. Gordon Gale Dr. Karen Gauvain Dr. Rob Hanson HONORARY BOARD Gene Deutsch Al Goldman Dan and Libby McLaughlin Tom O’Neal Guy Phillips Gary Saettele *Denotes former President EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Judy Ciapciak COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST Catie Dandridge OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR Brandy Lucero Friends of Kids with Cancer 530 Maryville Centre Dr, Suite LL5 St. Louis, MO 63141 T: 314-275-7440 F: 314-275-7446 www.friendsofkids.com Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood related diseases. Our mission is to be an advocate for these special kids and provide them and their families with the recreational, educational, and emotional support needed throughout the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation. A Message from the President Hello, I am Rick Lommel, and I am honored to serve as the newly elected president of Friends of Kids with Cancer. If you are reading this newsletter, then you already know what it is that I love so much about Friends. If you have ever been to the annual Golf Tournament, Fashion Show, Trivia Night, or any of our family parties, then you know how dedicated everyone involved is. Perhaps you have been a volunteer, taking some time out of your day to help at an event. Maybe you have given your time and money to support us at an annual fundraiser. You could be a parent of a child, and have seen firsthand the effect Friends has on supporting your child throughout their illness. Maybe you know the family of a child with cancer and have heard of our efforts. If you are not fully aware of all of the wonderful things Friends does, I encourage you to ask someone who does know. Friends is fully immersed in the community. I find it so amazing that no matter where I am in the St. Louis Area, I find supporters of Friends. There are, of course, the major events that many know of, but most people aren’t aware of the many third party events, held each weekend throughout the year. From trivia nights, to barbeques, to poker tournaments, to car shows, these events are organized by people who know the impact of Friends and want to help. I consider myself lucky to be a part of such a great charity. Not only do I get to be consistently amazed by our courageous and wonderful kids, but I am also inspired by the goodness and generosity of people I see in everything Friends does. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help lead this organization over the next two years. I encourage you to get involved and have the opportunity to feel what I get to feel each day. The individuals who support our charity are exceptional and we would love to have you as part of that group. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] and learn more about what you can do to help kids with cancer… be kids. Thank You, Rick Lommel Friends Welcomes Three New Board Members in 2013! Gary Bilder, owner of Lukas Liquor Superstore in West County- Gary has been a big supporter of Friends for years as a major donor to the Golf Tournament. He has donated all of the wine for dinner, and thousands of dollars worth of items in the silent auction. Gary has also served on the Fall Concert committee. Don Brown, President of Don Brown Chevrolet- Don and his wife, Tracy, learned about Friends through Board Members Ben and Jill Turec. They began volunteering at the Halloween Party. After attending Art from the Heart and forming a special friendship with one of the artists, their involvement with the charity has grown. Chris Drier, Market Area GM of Waste Management- Chris first got involved with Friends as a sponsor of the Golf Tournament. Shortly after that, he stepped up his sponsorship to become the tournament’s title sponsor. After spending four years in Washington, D.C., we are excited to welcome Chris back to St. Louis. Survivors: The Future of Friends! 3 One of the biggest silver linings patients and families encounter during the countless hours spent in treatment are the friendships made that last for years after treatment ends. A core group of former patients have maintained a close bond over the years and have continued to be heavily involved with Friends in a variety of ways, especially in leading our Young Friends of Kids with Cancer group. Some of these young men and women reflected back on why they love Friends, what keeps them involved, and how it has shaped their paths in life. Julia Gold: The experience that had the biggest impact on me was my first Fashion Show. Friends made me so glamorous in the time of my life when I was the most self conscious. My whole body was swollen from steroids, and I had lost most of my hair due to radiation. I just felt so special for one day. I’ve stayed with Friends for many reasons, including the friends I have made. We all have something in common; we have all battled a disease and come out much stronger. I now have a higher level of empathy for others. I just want to make all of the kids and young adults feel as special as Friends made me feel. I’m honored to be a member of the Young Friends of Kids with Cancer Board. I am proud of graduating from Webster University with a bachelor’s degree in Media Communications that I earned while going through treatment. For the past three years, I have volunteered at Siteman Cancer Center on the oncology floor. Megan Hecht: My first Friends experience was a Girls’ Night In at Union Station. It was just about three weeks after my diagnosis, and Jill Turec sent every person into my room to try to convince me to go. I was still in my shocked stage and I had my own friends, what did I need more for? Thanks to Jill’s persistence, I ended up going and having so much fun. It was nice to be able to talk to people who understood what I was going through. These same friendships still exist! Friends made a difference in my life by making every day a little easier. I couldn’t imagine going through this without them and no other kid should, either. I stay involved to make that happen. Right now, I work as a Department Secretary at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, and I am in school for healthcare management. Katy Breen: I went on a teen trip to Boston, where we got to go shopping, tour Fenway Park, and watch the 4th of July fireworks from the hotel rooftop. Friends allowed me to continue on being a teen through a difficult time in my life. Giving back to the charity is the least I can do. It brings a smile to my face when I see all the kids and their families we help. I am currently teaching first grade and graduated with my Master’s Degree last Spring. I am also the President of Young Friends of Kids with Cancer. Andy Cook: I know I would have had a much tougher time with my illness if it hadn’t been for Friends. I really developed a passion for helping kids going through some of the same things I did. I feel that if I can help just one kid in some way, it will all be worth it. I am particularly proud of the fact that I continued and completed my college degree while going through treatment. I had to transfer home from Mizzou and take classes at Meramec during treatment. I earned a 3.8 that semester and was able to transfer back to Mizzou, where I maintained above a 3.5 until I graduated. Matt Zeller: At a time when I was playing baseball for my high school team, I met former Cardinals Steve Kline and Mike DiFelice in the treatment center office. They invited me to Busch Stadium to play catch and afterwards, I hung out in the clubhouse with the players before a game, shagged fly balls in the outfield during practice, and got to watch a winning game. Friends helped me take a devastating experience and make it as painless as possible. I stay involved because if I can make someone else’s experience with cancer a little easier to bear, then it’s worth the effort. After treatment I joined the Army and served with the Army Rangers in Iraq from 2005-2006, just three years after treatment. It was tough, but because of my experience as a teenager, I was able to take it in stride. I now work at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and I have two beautiful children and a fantastic wife. 4 Adopt-A-Family On November 27, 2012, Kelly Hager, owner of The Kelly Hager Group of Keller Williams Realty hosted a party at her home in which she asked friends, relatives, coworkers, and clients to help deliver the Christmas wishes and needs of 18 children and their families. Approximately 150 people came bearing gifts for the families, resulting in more than $4,500 in cash donations and $26,000 worth of new clothing, games, toys, household items, and gift cards! There were so many donations, that it took eight vans to deliver the packages to the families. Each family received well over $1,000 to make their holidays brighter! Toy Drives The Holiday Season was overflowing with generosity in 2012. We are so thankful for all of the many wonderful groups who hosted Toy Drives to fill our Toy Closets! • • • • • • • • • • Altair Travel Aramark Uniform Services Boeing Employees Burns & Wilcox Cassidy Turley CBRE CBS Radio/ KEZK & KYKY Cooper Bussmann Tina Emig ESCO Technologies • • • • • • • • • • The Koman Group Midwest Industrial Rubber Missouri Baptist Cancer Center Navis Pack & Ship Optum Healthcare Peggy Jura & friends Playoff’s Sports Bar & Grill QuickCash The Ritz-Carlton RJP Electric • • • • • • • St. Louis Pizza and Wings 5th & 6th Graders at St. Michael’s School in Clayton Southwestern Illinois College Victor Espenoza Westminster Moms’ Luncheons Young Friends of Kids with Cancer Youth in Action Chaminade’s Day of Service Chaminade College Preparatory had their annual Mother/Son Service Day on December 1st. We were very excited when they expressed interest in helping the families with Friends of Kids with Cancer again this year! This year’s service project was especially welcomed because they were able to help some of our families for the holidays by hanging their Christmas lights and decorations. They even topped it off by bringing freshly baked cookies! The students and faculty at Chaminade have continued to support Friends of Kids with Cancer in many ways. In addition to the Service Day, Chaminade students raised $1,700 for Friends through their 6th Annual Indoor Soccer Marathon. Students raised the money by taking pledges and playing soccer all day long on a day off from school. Thank you all for everything you do! Kids Helping Kids 5 We could dedicate an entire newsletter to our Kids Helping Kids Club. These young entrepreneurs continue to amaze us with their generous and inventive ways of helping kids with cancer….be kids. • Alexis Phillips raised $140 at her lemonade stand. • The 7th Graders at Holy Trinity Catholic School raised $109.46 by hosting a bake sale. • Schoolmates of Jack Dannegger held a snack and toy drive for patients in treatment. • Students at Kehrs Mill Elementary School held a toy drive in honor of Blair Dubinsky. • Jamie Holtzman donated $100 in gift cards she received at her birthday party. • Shirlee Green Preschool and Shaare Emeth Temple collected and donated toys and books. • 7th graders at North Kirkwood Middle School assembled Buckets of Love for newly diagnosed patients and attached inspirational tags to them. They also made Valentine’s Day cards for patients, and created posters to promote their upcoming Hats on Day. • Haley Fullmer raised money by selling bracelets she made. Thank you to all of the great kids out there with big hearts who generously help other kids! • • • • • • • • • Ariel Berwald Clinton Junior High School Ellen Conley DuBray Middle School Sara Eberlin Jessie Goldberg Hazelwood Central High School Lauren Hutchens Lindbergh High School DECA • • • • • • • • Maison McLean O’Fallon Township High School Girls’ Soccer Team Brea Schmitz St. Norbert School Ellie Schrieber Isiah Valdeabella Kyndal Vick Shoshana Weinstein Sunday Night Lights The Lindbergh High School Football team hosted their third annual “Sunday Night Lights” event on October 7th, 2012. This unique event welcomes children battling cancer to campus for a memorable experience that includes a carnival and pre-game meal before partaking in a flag football game as a player, cheerleader, band member, or dance team member. The guests are first treated to a carnival with the Lindbergh students, then they are served a traditional pre-game meal. This year’s event raised $1,185 through concession stand sales and donations. Sunday Night Lights began in 2010 when Jake Franzel, a junior at Lindbergh High School, was diagnosed with cancer. Jake had dreamed of playing on the Varsity Football Team, and would not be able to following his diagnosis, so his peers created “Sunday Night Lights” so that he could live his dream. Although Jake sadly passed away in January of 2012, the Lindbergh community honors his memory and courage by continuing to give kids a fun night as guests “under the lights.” Operation: Orange Laces Honors Two Teammates St. Peters Spirit Squirt B showed their support to their teammates, Brandon #15 and Jack #80, for their courageous journey in their fight against Leukemia by changing the whole teams laces to orange. The laces will be worn to continue support throughout our entire 2012-13 Hockey Season. Brandon finished his last treatment November 1st and Jack followed soon after. In addition to this, they are also launching a ‘Goals for a Cure’ Campaign. They took pledge amounts for each goal Squirt B scores throughout their season and the money raised was presented to Friends of Kids with Cancer! 6 Third Party Events Brooke’s 18th Birthday Party Brooke Hyman celebrated her 18th birthday by hosting a Fashion Show and Boutique Shopping Event to benefit Friends of Kids with Cancer! “Over the past year I’ve had the honor to get to know the most amazing little girl, Arianna Dougan. Ari has taught me and so many others a message of life I would’ve never discovered. As Ari battles cancer, her smile never fades, and you can always see the happiness in her heart.” “With each new year in my life, I will encounter different choices, people, and opportunities to take. Thanks to Ari, I will now always choose the ones that will take me on a path to happiness. This is why for sone special evening I want all of us to gather to celebrate the real meaning of life by ‘Walking the runway with our heads held high in our ‘High Fashion Frost.’” Brooke’s big heart and her passion for fashion were the driving forces to make this event so special and to raise a very impressive $12,500 for Friends! Happy birthday, Brooke!! Thank you so much for putting together this fantastic event!!! Sean Oliver Trivia Night The first-ever Sean Oliver Trivia Night raised $5,612 for Friends of Kids with Cancer! The trivia night was held on October 27, 2012 at Kennedy Catholic High School and was held in memory of Sean Oliver. Sean lost his 16-month fight with leukemia just weeks after his graduation from Kennedy in 2002. His family set up a scholarship in his memory, which has been awarded to a Kennedy junior every year. Recipients of the scholarship embody the true Kennedy spirit and academic excellence. Steelcase Wreath & Menorah Design Competition Steelcase, Inc. held their 6th Annual Wreath & Menorah Design Competition and Charity Auction on Thursday, December 13th. The event was held at the Kemper Art Museum at Washington University, and raised $5,500 for Friends of Kids with Cancer! Architectural and design companies from the area created unique wreaths and menorahs to celebrate the holidays, and were available for purchase through a silent auction. Additionally, artwork created through our Art Therapy program was available for purchase. Pistons and Pearls Friends was lucky enough to have been chosen as a beneficiary of the funds raised at the St. Louis Auto Show’s Pistons and Pearls Gala event totaling $7,100. On Thursday, January 24th, a VIP Party was held, and one of our patients, Ari, was chauffeured by new Board Member, Don Brown, of Don Brown Chevrolet. Ari then walked the red carpet and gave an interview. The Pistons and Pearls Gala, the main event, was held on Saturday, January 26th at America’s Center. In addition to the Auto Show, the event included live music and performances. These events were sponsored by the St. Louis Auto Dealers Association. Third Party Events 7 Black Sheep Golf Tournament The Black Sheep Foundation is made up of a group of big, burly rugby players whose hearts are larger than life. In 1998, they decided to have a golf tournament as a way to gather all of their friends who lived out of town together. Two years later, they decided to donate the tournament’s proceeds to charity. After seeing an article in the Webster/ Kirkwood Times, Jon Burke contacted Friends of Kids with Cancer to be the charity of their choice. For the past twelve years, The Black Sheep Foundation Golf Tournament has raised $300,000 for Friends of Kids with Cancer. The camaraderie among this group of guys is what makes their efforts so special. Each year, they choose a young female athlete who is undergoing or has undergone treatment for cancer. “We naively thought that we would be leaving these kids ‘better off,’ when in actuality, the kids are the ones leaving us better off,” said Burke, who now serves as Tournament Chair. The first athlete they honored was Randi Perkins in 1999, who is now our first guardian angel. Sadly, Randi lost her battle in 2001. Her name is now included in the name of the tournament to help perpetuate her memory. This year’s honoree was Maggie Bohannan, who they showered the with special gifts, flowers, money, gift cards, and an official framed and autographed rugby jersey. We invite you to play in the 2013 tournament, which will be held on August 17th. Cope Plastics Golf Tournament Cope Plastics is the premier distributor and fabricator of plastic sheet, rod, and tube across the Midwest, and is headquartered right here in Alton, IL. Dwight Cope founded the company in 1946, and after 66 years in the plastic business they still honor his dream and vision to “Continuously Offer People Excellence.” The Cope team lives by a corporate philosophy: “We believe family is the foundation of our lives”. That is one of the reasons that the partnership between Cope Plastics and “Friends of Kids with Cancer” is so meaningful…..family is the foundation of our mission. In 2007, Cope Plastics held their First Annual Golf Tournament which generated $2,500 for Friends. Each year their donations have increased, and in 2012 it made a dramatic leap to $8,221. We want to thank Cope’s Golf Tournament Chairs, and all of the Cope family including employees, vendors and friends for your dedication to helping kids with cancer…be kids. You do make a difference in the families’ lives that have a child in treatment for cancer. Coaches vs. Cancer Students and faculty at Parkway West High School raised $1,947.48 for Friends through an event called “Coaches vs. Cancer.” During a two week fundraising period, five athletic events took place that raised money through admission fees, along with proceeds from rally towel and shoelace sales. At the end of the two weeks, the “Coaches vs. Cancer” basketball game took place, which is the annual Senior-Faculty basketball game. This campaign brought a sense of community to Parkway West, and both students and faculty had fun supporting a good cause! 8 Family Parties Our parties have a unique way of letting the children escape into being a normal kid, running around, and having fun while allowing the parents to relax and share their experiences with people who understand their situation. This past fall and winter, we hosted two of our favorite parties! Halloween Party at the Blue Heron Farm Winter Wonderland at Sports Fusion Celebrating No More Chemo! 9 We are looking forward to expanding one of our newest programs; End of Chemo Parties at the treatment centers! Reaching the end of chemotherapy treatments is an enormous milestone in a patient’s life. Whether the treatment has lasted several weeks or years, we are so happy to celebrate the end of it! At the end of the treatment, patients celebrate with a small cake and we present them with a gift card. Currently at Children’s Hospital, the patients get to ring a special bell to signify the end of their chemo. While ringing a bell might not seem very special to most people, it is one of the most exciting things that can happen in the treatment center! Pictured: Patient Jack Dannegger celebrates with friends after finishing his chemo treaments at Mercy. We are so happy to be able to help these kids celebrate this amazing milestone! A Reason to Celebrate!! Nothing makes us happier at Friends of Kids with Cancer than celebrating the milestones of the families we have gotten to know over the years. If you are celebrating an important date soon, please let us know! We recently heard the story of six-year-old Dominic Wuertz, who just celebrated six years of being cancer free! Dominic was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor when he was just 11 weeks old. After three months of chemo, he went into acute liver failure, and was listed on the transplant list. His liver rejuvenated and began fully functioning on its own. He went into remission, and after five years, is now considered cured. Dominic is now is a happy, healthy first grader who loves cheering on the Cardinals. He has a an infectious laugh and the charisma of a grown man more than twice his size. Congratulations, Dominic! We’re so happy to hear your story! Dominic is pictured here on the first day of school, and at Christmas with his sisters, Kennedy, Madison, and Olivia. Dream Room Makeover 15-year-old patient, Johnny Gibbs recently had the bedroom makeover of a lifetime! Johnny, an avid Cardinals fan, now gets to call a Cards Clubhouse-inspired room home. Johnny is a true friend to Friends. He and his dad recently traveled to Tulsa Oklahoma to attend the “Chili Bowl,” which is the National Championship of midget car racing. Johnny gave a talk during the event’s auction about his experience in treatment and how Friends of Kids with Cancer has helped him and his family. NASCAR driver, Tony Stewart was in attendance that day, and Johnny’s speech inspired him to make a donation to Friends on the spot! Thank you for spreading the word about Friends, Johnny! We hope you enjoy your room! 10 Volunteer Spotlight: Barb Kaste and Tanya Sedlack For the past two years, Friends of Kids with Cancer’s Program Director, Margie Sedlack, has been working with very special volunteers to bring a little bit of joy to the kids in treatment at Cardinal Glennon. Margie, along with Barb Kaste and Tanya Sedlack, volunteer their time doing arts and crafts for a few hours each week. Pictured: Barb (left) and Tanya (far right) making Easter eggs with the kids at Cardinal Glennon “Barb and Tanya work so hard on this program. We spend a lot of time planning out what crafts we’ll do. This can be tricky because we have toddlers all the way up through teens, and we have to have something for everyone. We never want to leave anybody out, and we even include the kids in isolation. There are always multiple craft projects the kids can work on. The nurses have told us that the kids are always asking them, ‘When is Friends of Kids with Cancer coming back?’ It’s the highlight of the week for some of them,” said Margie. Thank you for volunteering your time to make this program so much fun, Barb and Tanya! Chill Cool Frozen Yogurt is Turning Three! Amy Koman and her three daughters founded Chill Cool Frozen Yogurt in 2010. The first location of this West Coast frozen yogurt concept is on Wydown Blvd in Clayton, and they quickly expanded to Des Peres, then a Ladue location. Chill generously donates a portion of their proceeds to Friends of Kids with Cancer each year. They also have sponsored “fresh yogurt treats” on the oncology floors at the local pediatric treament centers and give out samples at the Friends Golf Tournament and Art from the Heart each year. In celebration of their third anniversary, and check presentation to Friends of Kids with Cancer, Chill is sponsoring a special event on April 19th at the Wydown location. At 3:30pm, Fredbird will be on hand, giving out limited edition baseball helmet bowls for guests to make their favorite frozen yogurt purchase. The promotional helmet special will be held all weekend long, until the supply is depleted. Come on out to support Friends of Kids with Cancer while enjoying a “Chilly” treat! When: Friday, April 19th- Sunday, April 21st Where: Chill Cool Frozen Yogurt, 7610 Wydown Blvd (at Hanley Road) **Special Appearance by FredBird on the 19th a 3:30pm** Thank you ever so much for our son’s iPad. He has recovered from his time in the ICU and is enjoying it very much (hence the big smile). Thanks and God Bless your continued work on behalf of the kids and their families! -Mother of patient 20th Anniversary Fashion Show 11 The 20th Anniversary Friends of Kids with Cancer Fashion Show and Boutique on Thursday, November 8th, at the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis raised $200,000 for our programs! The luncheon and dinner shows attracted over 1,100 people throughout the day and night. The red-carpet gala featured boutique shopping and gourmet food and drinks. Our dear friend, Guy Phillips, of Y98 served once again as our Master of Ceremonies. For the first time, Friends partnered with Lucky You Productions to create the perfect runway show, which featured patients and survivors who have joined the "Friends Family" over the last 20 years. Most importantly, this event features the kids and celebrates their courage. Each model receives a bevy of gifts suited to their personal preferences, from a Barbie-themed Power Wheels convertible to a full-sized basketball hoop for the backyard! In addition to of all the gifts, the models are treated to pizza and pool party in between shows, and a fun night's stay at the Homewood Suites. This experience is a real opportunity to build their self-esteem and confidence, making every child feel beautiful and allow them to walk in the limelight to thunderous applause. We would also like to recognize the chairs of the event: Merri Cross, Kelly Buchanan, and Lisa Nixon. Without them and our volunteer committee, this outstanding event would not be possible! Art from the Heart The third annual Art from the Heart event, which showcased pieces created through the Art Therapy program, raised an impressive $40,000 for Friends of Kids with Cancer. The event was held on Thursday, September 27th at Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis and featured live music, drinks and hearty appetizers from multiple restaurants, a glass blowing demonstration, silent auction, and a showcase of over 70 pieces of artwork created by kids in treatment for cancer with Art Therapist, Natasha Westrich-Wood. Many of the young artists were able to attend the event and see their artwork raise money for the organization. We would like to thank our wonderful committee who helped organize the event and Arch Framing, who make the pieces look so beautiful! Trivia Night This year’s Trivia Night, held on February 1st, was celebrated “Big Easy Style” with a Mardi Gras theme that was enjoyed by the sold out crowd! Host Jeff Abeln led the crowd through unique categories, games, and raffle drawings. This year’s event raised $17,500 for our programs! Trivia Night is one of our most popular events of the year, and it would not have been possible without our major sponsors; CBC High School, Moneta Group, and Bettie Gershman. It was very nice of Friends of Kids with Cancer to give me such a great gift, when you didn’t have to at all. I used my gift card to buy an Xbox 360 Kinect. I love it! My sisters came home from Kansas City, so my whole family was able to play it together. We had a great time playing! I attached some pictures of me with my gift, and of my family and I playing with it. Thanks so much again! -Patient 16 Jean Taggart Allison Tom & Rita Keefe 2012 Memorial Donations Gayle Viorel Mary Ann Viorel Nancy Walterscheid William & Martha Willett Brenda Wiskerchin Family Jim Artz Jo & Jan Jeziorski Ingeborg Goessl Steve & Patti Hubbell Karen Hurst Shirley Janes Ann Knight Harriet Leff Bob & Debbie Nagy Barbara Nordhaus Miaden & Kimberly Mastnak Jay & Christine May Gene & Joan Menges Glenn & Sharon Pearl Rich & Kathy Sansone Dawn Singer Don & Reba Smedshammer Greg Smith Family Tom & Karen Tonella Cindy Williams Mary Vasiz Stephen Aufdenspring Michal & Barb Aufdenspring Mother of Peggy Billhartz Mark Eidelman Reita Barasch Mary McDevitt Susan Brethauer Rick & Ann Seebeck Leota Billings George & Gerry Ballinger Bill Bono & Family S.A. & Kim Buckman Sandy Conn Kathy & John Cardona Yvonne Cassidy Bob & Christy Cavanagh Robert Clayton II Katy Drews Belinda Ebers & Family Bob & Connie Feil Patricia Gelber Doug & Janet Gregonis Angie Hudelkorn Don & Alma Knepp Family Betty Krigbaum Mike & Linda Lake Dan & Judy Locke James McKenzie Kevin & Susan Meneau Terry & Margaret Miller Doug Minor & Family David & Susie Murphy James & Patricia Murphy John & Barbara Murphy Patrick & Brenda Newell Linda O’Donnell & Family Sonya Pecoraro Richard & June Piper Raymond & Judy Richardson Sidney & June Riedinger Jonna Schiller Grace Brod Peter & Gisela Cohen Jeffrey & Martina Stern Fred Altman Lauren & James Ryan Rose Altman Cherie Stone Mary Ann Altmann Joe & Joyce Ancona Tony Amato Tim & Mary Kellett Dr. George Anstey Tom & Trish Casey Judith Aronson Warner & Helane Isaacs Ronnie Barnholtz Bruce & Laurie Glazier Sister of Carol Barr Stephen & Nedra Morose Doris Baumgarten John & Do Reis Madelyn Bayer The Adamson Family Thomas & Joyce Deluva Dr. Patrick McDonough Vivian Becker Eric & Allison Galanti Husband of Beverly Berman Beverly Goldstein Alan L.
