A renovation and expansion of an existing ice cream production
facility to improve efficiency including:
• extensive changes to floor drainage system and dairy brick
flooring to comply with FDA cleanliness requirements
• new freezer and cooler storage space to improve raw product handling
• power distribution modifications, glycol system, HVAC
• new offices, new cafeteria, and locker room space
Ice Cream Storage and Distribution Center, Bronx, NY
A new, 4,000 SF regional facility including:
• low temperature (-20 degrees Fahrenheit) storage freezer
• extensive warehouseing facilities with a high-rack system
and deck levelers
• administrative offices
• on-grade refrigerated truck parking
Haagen-Dazs Bronx Expansion, Bronx, NY
8 years after the successful construction of the above facility
Ken, Steve, and the project team were again called to create an
expansion with features including:
• construction of an adjacent 13,000 SF pre-engineered steel,
refrigerated warehouse
• 11,000 SF low temperature (-20 degrees Fahrenheit) storage
freezer
• state-of-the-art air curtain freezer door for prime access
• parking areas/site improvements for original and new buildings
• remote maintenance and refrigerated truck storage
