Projects Initiated
Annamrita Serving 1.2 million meals everyday
Hunger and illiteracy are two of India’s most widespread and pressing
problems. Annamrita breaks the hunger cycle by providing the incentive to
keep their children in school and off the streets. For most, it is the only
complete meal of the day. Studies demonstrate the direct correlation
between these lunch programs and increased student enrollment,
attendance, attention spans, and exam scores.

training as well as free food and

though we consider ourselves knowledgeable, we have never been able to experience a direct encounter with

his journey.” Mr. Narayan Vaghul, ExChairman, ICICI Bank
