elements from nature end sheets, f its snugly into this machine-stitched pouch made from dark brown hemp
fabric. A hand-dr awn illustration printed on a tea- dyed cotton patch is machine-stitched to adorn the pouch. The
multipurpose closure tie is made from tea-dy ed cotton twill and can be used to secure the pouch, hang it on a belt
or create a handle. Book is 6 3/8 x 4 7/8 x 5/8" Pouch is 8 x 5.5" Tie closure is 31"

:: Kata Golda Stor y ::
Nestled snugly in a small, mossy seaside town is my studio and home of Kata Golda. Here I begin each day with a
walk in the woods or digging in the garden, and by midmorning my mind is full of ideas and I’m ready to spend the
day creating.
In 1999, inspired by the color and texture of hand-dy ed wool felt, I star ted making to ys for my baby girl. As she g rew
and began to dr aw I made her first sketch book, decorated with a hand-stitched f elt teddy bear and adorned with her
name. It became the f orerunner of the Kata Golda collection.
Kata Golda has g rown into a flourishing business with the help of many skilled artisans living on the W est Coast of
the United States. Kata Golda stri ves to pay living wages and preser ve handicrafts such as needlework, letterpress
printing, hand-thrown potte ry, hand-dyed textiles, f elting and bookbinding
By using up e very little scrap of material and reusing supplies as much as possible, Kata Golda stri ves to produce zero
waste and have the lowest impact on the environment possible.
