$600 per year (Includes all employees)
The importance and benefits of exercise has become so great that many companies have now started their own
corporate fitness programs to help lower insurance costs. The main reason companies start a corporate fitness
program today is because it helps prevent health issues by reducing claims by employees which in turn, saves
lots of money for the company. These corporations realize that there is a link between the prevention and the
investment of health in their staff. In addition to increased productivity and a reduction in the number of absenteeism, a corporate fitness program generally raises the company morale and camaraderie amongst corporate
fitness members.

Aikido
The Way of Harmonious Power
Mondays and Wednesdays
6:00 - 7:00
$40 per month / $5 per session
The Art of Making Soap
Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art developed by
Morehi Uyeshiba (often referred to as O Sensei)
as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy,
and spiritual beliefs. Uyeshiba's goal was to create an art that practitioners could use to defend
themselves while also protecting their attacker
from injury. Aikido is performed by blending with
the motion of the attacker and redirecting the
force of the attack rather than opposing it head
on.
One of our most popular classes returns for a Fall
lesson. Learn the unique art of making your very own
homemade all-natural soap with returning instructor
Connie Briggs. Learn to make basic soaps, how to
cure and cut the bars and creative ways to package
your creation for gift giving. This hands-on class also
informs participants on how to incorporate the benefits
of aromatherapy by using essential oils during the
soap making process. All of the supplies and special
soap samples are included in this affordable class.
The Cripple Creek Aikido Club is headed by
Chuck Caldwell, Shihan. Chuck holds a 9th Dan
(9th degree black belt) in Kihara Aikido. Chuck
is a direct student of Karl Geis, Hanshi and is
currently the Clinician of the Fugakukai International Association.
