Upcoming Changes
Effective May 1, 2013: FCFCU will no longer be mailing out Non-sufficient funds (NSF) notifications. To access
your account information after hours our call center is available @ 1-877-886-7709. Account balances are also
available 24/7 through Virtual Branch online banking and Quickphone. To sign up go to www.firstcalfcu.org and
click on Resource Center. Complete the application, print it and mail to: First California Federal Credit Union
2525 E Shields Ave Fresno, CA 93726.
Effective June 1, 2013: For our members with term share accounts, dividends can either be compounded to the
term share or can be transferred to the savings (03) or the checking (75). We will no longer be mailing cashier’s
checks for the dividends earned.
Total Saver savings (03) dividend tiers have been updated. Effective June 1, 2013 the structure of our tiers will be
as follows: Interest earned will continue to be variable. Deposits will continue to earn interest in a tiered format.
Deposits from $5 to $249.99 will not earn dividends. Deposits above $250.00 will earn dividends according to the
published rates. Rates can be found online @firstcalfcu.org, inside the branch, or by calling 559-226-8282.
Effective July 1, 2013: Traveler’s checks will no longer be sold by FCFCU. Many of our members have taken
advantage of the broad spectrum of usage of our ATM/Visa Debit Card. This is a safe and effective way to use your
FCFCU account around town and while traveling.

As parents many of us are trying to instill good values and
life lessons in our growing children. First California Federal
Credit Union wants your family to grow with us! We would
like to help our local youth save money for their futures.
And by doing so help our youth learn about saving and

We have created the
Future Savers account
for kids 5 to 15 years
of age. Future Savers
will earn dividends on

• If you keep cars outside of the garage bring the
garage door openers inside after parking your
vehicle (bring in anything that may appear to be
valuable). Please make sure to close the garage door.
• Make sure that all windows, sliding glass doors,
and entrance doors properly close and lock securely.
For reinforcement use wooden dowels placed in the
track of windows and sliding glass doors, and add
heavy duty night chains to entrance doors.
• Make sure all family members know how to call for
help. For younger family members keep emergency
phone numbers next the phones and for cell
phones make sure young ones know how to dial for
help.
• Keep doors locked even when home and use (or
install) peep holes.
• Make your home look as if you are there even
when you are gone. Use automatic timers for lights,
televisions, or radios.
