CELEBRATE this natural resource and its contribution to the watershed’s economy.
For logistical and safety reasons PRE-REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED . Sign up by registering on the website, androscogginwatershed.org. Although there is no fee to participate, a $10.00 donation is suggested at the time of registering. Donations will also be accepted at the put in site on each event day. Is the river difficult? Most sections of the river are flat water with a gentle current to move us along. Some sections have rapids and require more experience. Check the website for more detail on each day’s paddling conditions. What do I need to bring? Participants must bring their own canoe, kayak, paddle-‐board, lifejackets for every person on the water and paddles. Lunch, and extra clothing for cold or wet weather are recommended. Lunches will be offered on a few days. Check out www.androscogginwatershed.org for updates and additional information. Also look for a few exciting off-‐river activities. Overnight accommodations: Campgrounds are available over much of the river. There are also B&B’s, hotels and motels available in most communities. Check out local chamber of commerce web sites. Sponsors offering accommodations include the Mahoosuc Inn, Bethel Outdoor Adverture (campground) and Sunday River Resort.
