This 472 hectare park
includes extensive wetlands,
forests, fields and a
202 hectare water control
reservoir that was built in
1966. The park includes
16 kilometres of nature trails,
a demonstration sugar bush,
visitors centre, a wildlife walkway with bison
and birds of prey and a childrens Play Barn.
Observe some of the hundreds of bird species
recorded at the conservation area along the
Lakeshore Lookout trail. The Pioneer Creek
and Nature Trivia trails also include unique
features that convey the natural history of
the park.

sensitive areas. Trail routes are selected to mitigate
damage to animal and plant species.
