Principal, Bishop Design
Debra Bishop is a creative professional with more than 25
years of experience in design leadership. Now Principal of
Bishop Design, she is best known for her branding
expertise, visual story telling and skillful typography.
Formerly she worked as Creative Director at Meredith
Corporation. Prior to that she worked at Martha Stewart
Living Omnimedia where she was co-founder and VP,
Design Director of several publications
including: Blueprintmagazine, Martha Stewart
Kids, Martha Stewart Baby and Martha by Mail. Debra's
work has been recognized and awarded by The American
Society of Magazine Editors (ASME), The Art Directors
Club, The Society of Publication Designers (SPD), The
Type Directors Club (TDC), American Photography,
American Illustration, and Communication Arts magazine,
to name a few. Debra has served as a board member of
SPD and has lectured in New York, Toronto, Calgary,
Copenhagen and Oslo. She teaches at the School of Visual
Arts.
