FIFTEENTH FALL CONFERENCE
The Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association (PWIA), Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), and the Pennsylvania Association of Host Municipal Inspectors (PAHMI) are jointly sponsoring the Fifteenth Fall Conference on September 10 and 11, 2013 at the Harrisburg Hilton, One South Second Street, Harrisburg, PA. The format of the conference will be the same as last year: the conference will run from late morning Tuesday
to noon Wednesday with featured keynote speakers at the Tuesday luncheon and Wdednesday Breakfast sessions. Plenary sessions will be
Tuesday afternoon and breakout sessions will be Wednesday Morning.
The annual one and half day conference serves as a technical and regulatory forum for the solid waste industry in Pennsylvania and is an
excellent opportunity to network with you colleagues. SWANA Members that attend can earn CEUs toward respective certifications. The
conference fee for association members, sponsors and exhibitors is $175 for payments received by August 15, and $200 thereafter. Fees
for Individuals not members, sponsor or exhibitors is $25 more.
Single day registrations are not available. The registration fee includes the plenary and technical sessions, refreshment breaks, Tuesday sitdown lunch, Tuesday evening reception with hors d’oeuvres in the exhibitors hall and Wednesday buffet breakfast.
Hotel accommodations are at the Harrisburg Hilton, One South 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA. Special Conference room rates are available at
$124.00 per night plus tax (single or double occupancy) for Monday, September 9 and Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Reservation may be
made by calling the hotel Reservations can be made by contacting the Harrisburg Hilton at 717-233-6000 and referring to reservation code
SWANA. Reservations must be made prior to August 17, 2013 to receive the discounted room rate.
