It was a great delight to have presented to you with our 2006 Ramadan Catalog of
IQRA's books. This catalog has been divided by topic matter to provide you with an
easy means of browsing the titles in your particular area of interest. In addition we hope
that the detailed descriptions and cover shots assisted in the selection of the appropriate books for your spiritual growth during this most hallowed time of year.
We are happy to inform you that after a quarter of a century of focused work
IQRA' has now completed its comprehensive, systematic and integrated program for
Islamic Studies. This curriculum covers all grades from Kindergarten to Senior High
School and deals in-depth with all subjects of Islamic theological sciences (i.e.
Qur'anic studies, Aqidah & Fiqh, Sirah, Akhlaq, Arabic language and Islamic Social
Studies). Our program fuses traditional systems of instruction with contemporary educational methodologies providing child-centered textbooks, workbooks, educational
aids and products.
It is with immense satisfaction that we see this program being used in part or in
whole in a preponderance of full-time and part-time Islamic schools in North America
and over 40 countries worldwide. We believe that Islamic education is the birthright of
every youngster, Muslim and non-Muslim, and it is our responsibility to produce the literature that is both educational and child-centered.
Nevertheless, this work needs tremendous financial and human resources. With
the current limited market even printing quality books is not a cost-effective operation.
IQRA' rarely recovers the printing cost and cannot even begin to conceive of reclaiming the production cost, which in itself is far higher than printing cost. It is for these reasons that we earnestly seek your support to make IQRA' a viable Islamic Trust (waqf),
an immutable charity (sadaqah jariyah) for mankind and a great benefaction to our
coming generations all across the world.
Therefore we selflessly seek your help in advancing IQRAs vision through popularizing the use of IQRA' books and becoming an ANSAR For the Muslims of North
