BIOGRAPHIES OF MOSAIC PRINCIPALS GREGORY REAVES has spent more than 20 years working at all levels in corporate and private industries. He graduated from Howard University, Washington, DC, with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He also played division I soccer estate development, government relations, domestic and international public relations and entrepreneurship. He began his career with McNeil Consumer Products Company, a division of Johnson and Johnson, where he worked as an engineer in support of research, manufacturing and packing operations. He was responsible for trouble- during his tenure with the company. Early in his career, Greg was responsible for eliminating a long-standing and ship with the University of Pennsylvania, the National Science Foundation, and Merck to train Philadelphia school - While at Merck, Greg also led college recruiting for the manufacturing division, was the director of Government the management of the Merck Manual and the intranet. Greg left Merck and started a consulting company, where he assisted pharmaceutical and real estate companies with marketing and crisis communications. After learning more about the real estate industry, he joined a midsize real estate development company, where he became a member of the executive team. Greg also helped the company acquire two highly desirable real estate assets, totaling more than $300 million in value once completed, while simultaneously gaining community acceptance. Greg recently established his own Real Estate development company, Mosaic Development Partners. Together with his partner, they were awarded three RFPs and are in the active development phase for three projects in the strated track record that exceeds other programs of its kind. Greg married Beth Baxter in 1988. They have three children: Jordan, Josh and Mia. - LESLIE SMALLWOOD- LEWIS graduated from Brown University (Providence, RI) in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Immediately after graduating from Brown, Leslie attended law school at Villanova University School of Law (Villanova, PA). Le slie graduated from Villanova Law School in 1991. From 1991-2001, Leslie practiced civil defense law at a medium sized Philadelphia defense firm and subsequently in a small Philadelphia law practice specializing in workers compensation, personal injury, domestic relations and bankruptcy. In 2001, Leslie joined the Goldenberg Group, a regional mid-sized real estate development firm located in Blue Bell, PA, as an Associate Development Director. During her 7 year tenure, she was promoted three times ultimately achieving the position of Senior Vice -President of Development. Leslie led the development of a $50 million, 342,000 square foot shopping center, the largest single development in West Philadelphia and the largest development in a Federal Empowerment zone located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She also developed and implemented a program which led to the successful acquisition and relocation of private residences without incident, utilized eminent domain to acquire vacant blighted properties and generated community support and positive media coverage for the effe ctive management of this program. Deep in her understanding of public subsidies and special financing mechanisms, Leslie was able to secure over $18M of New Ma rket Tax Credit financing and $13M in public grants, tax increment financing and low-interest loans leading the project to its successful completion. By doing so, Leslie built significant community and government relationships to effectively position the company as a preferred developer in the future. In 2008, Leslie and her partner, established their own real estate development company, Mosaic Development Partners. Leslie’s primary responsibilities include acquisition, entitlements, financial analysis, public funding and the overall development process. L eslie is married to Curtis Lewis and they have two children, Demi and Curtis, Jr. STACEY DOWLING - attended Spring Garden College in Philadelphia where he studied Business Management. He has over 20 years of professional experience in a corporate setting. Working at Prudential Insurance Company for 10 years in finance and the next 10 between at Merrill Lynch, Delaware Investment and Bisys Retirement Services serving as an Account Manager. In 1997, Stacey and his family established their own business, Dowling's Palace on North Broad St in Philadelphia. There they created some of Philadelphia's well known brands including Jus' Words, Big Sundays and Jus' Jazz. This endevour quickly became a staple of the community and an important mainstay for social activities.
