Smithfield’s teens are invited to
all sorts of mystery-filled fun
this summer by participating in
the Library’s teen summer
reading program from ^une 25 to
August 18. aoung adults can
win fabulous prikes for reading
as well as take part in special
events offered throughout the
summer. Special events will
include a visit from Smithfield
Police Department, with a
chance to experience CSI:
Smithfield. `eginning on ^une
18, those in middle and high
school can pick up an
informational booklet detailing
all the events that will take
place. Registration for most
events will start on ^une 25.
Teens can also sign up to read 7
books during the summer
reading program. Those who
succeed will receive a prike pack
and their names will be entered
into a drawing for the grand
prike, a fabulous MP3 player.
The aNm P aour Library teen
summer reading program is
sponsored by the RI Institue of
Museum d Library Services, the
Friends of the Greenville
Public Library, Newport
Creamery, and a number of area
businesses.

off the summer reading program

will keep this party hopping.

The Library will kick off its teen
book group series with Down the
Rabbit Hole by Peter Abrahams
on Yednesday, ^une 27 at 11:00
am. Ingrid, a big fan of Sherlock
]olmes, gets an opportunity to
investigate a murder after she
gets some help from a juirky
woman in her hometown of
Acho Falls.

poison. Yhat is a fun way to
spend the afternoon if you like

fun trivia game based on the
popular game show.
