Under consideration are the effects which the proposed student rates will have on students and local businessmen. Mike feels this project should create renewed interest in the activities of N F CUS. Based on a points system graded according to the importance of executive positions, a gold D is awarded to male students who have accumulated 1,000 points or more, and a silver D to co-eds having from 600 to 800 points. Recipients of gold awards are William A. Dolan, James MacAuley, and Daniel O'Hanley. while the silver award goes to Frances MacDougall. P. E. I. WELCOME S.D.U. Once again the boys will outnumber the girls, this time by 7 to 1 (forty-nine boys to seven girls). Thirteen of the candidates will also be eligible for honors. Cass, a former student of S.D.U. and brother of Rev. F. Cass of S.D.U., was ordained a Jesuit in 1934, taught philosophy at the Jesuit seminary in Toronto for twenty years, and is presently teaching at Loyola College in Montreal.
