is helpful, but often the
added perspective of
outside legal counsel is
needed to make sure all

personal matters, too, may require the
insights of a good lawyer, one who specializes in exactly the kind of situation

For the eighth year in a row,
Columbus CEO is proud to publish a
list of central Ohio’s Top Lawyers, as
determined by Seattle-based AVVO.
This is the second year we have asked
AVVO to share its top-ranked local
lawyers.
AVVO uses a proprietary algorithm
to rate lawyers on a 10-point scale that
takes into account factors including
peer endorsements, experience, education, training, speaking, publishing and
awards. It is a dynamic rating that is
continuously updated with new information from attorneys and their peers
as well as licensing and disciplinary
authorities.
Our list includes lawyers ranked
10 to 7.5 by AVVO. But just as our
information-fueled world is constantly
changing, these rankings also change,
so the best source for current AVVO
ratings is its website, AVVO.com. We
list Top Lawyers alphabetically by law
firm name and note one or two practice
specializations per attorney. See AVVO
online to search for lawyers by all their
practice specialties.
