THE Farmers’ Market IS BACK
at Columbus square!
The Farmers’ Market returned to Columbus Square on July
17th for the fifth year in a row with great early produce like
squash, zucchini and black raspberries, flowers and baked
goods. One of the merchants brought corn grown in their
fields in West Jefferson, some of the earliest corn in central
Ohio.
The market, which is hosted in cooperation with the Pearl
Alley Grower’s Association, is open every Tuesday through
October 23 from 4 to 6 PM located in the same place on
the concrete pad on the north side of the Ohio Thrift Store.
The first week we
had about a dozen
sellers and plenty
of buyers, you will
see more sellers and
more buyers each
week as the Ohio
crops ripen and
are brought to the
market, ready to sell.
The Farm Market
banners are up
on the light poles,
and signs directing
drivers are placed
every Tuesday
morning on
Cleveland Avenue
and Forest Hills
Boulevard to help bring customers in to Columbus Square,
the Farmer’s Market, and your stores.
The farm market generates a lot of traffic at Columbus
Square and is great exposure for your business. Make sure
your windows sparkle and your stores look their best!
