May 12, 2011 The 2nd meeting of the Central Headquarters was held Sign Interpretation is provided at the Press meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office • May 27‐June 7, 2011 The total of 10 members of the psychological care team conducted the 2nd assessment survey, interviewed 64 persons. • May 28‐29, 2011 Delivered relief supplies to Iwate Regional Headquarters. Coordinated assistance with Miyagi Regional Headquarters. • July 1‐5, 2011 Mr. Hisamatsu, General Manager and Ms. Asai, Coordinator of Sign Interpreting, visited Regional Headquarters of Iwate and Miyagi and the devastated area, negotiated with the prefectural government of Iwate and Miyagi, and talked about the future. Request situation of sign interpreters Miyagi: 81 interpreters, Fukushima: 4 interpreters Central Headquarters sent 3 sign interpreters to Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima Request situation of consulting staff for the Deaf Miyagi Prefecture: 5 consultants • Miyagi Regional Headquarters • April 22‐28, May 27‐31, June 2‐6 KIZUNA We are entirely devoted to reconstruction!
