Dear Fellow Martial Artists,
Grandmaster Tony Yang’s WuTang Center would like to invite you to our 20th and
final tournament. What began in 1997 as the “Hall of Fame” Chinese Martial
Arts Tournament in Canton, Ohio at the Canton Memorial Civic Center, evolved
over time, moved to Akron and Medina, and Las Vegas, changed names and
places, and now, finally after 20 years, comes to an end with our 20th and
final tournament in Akron, Ohio. As Grandmaster Yang eases into retirement
in Las Vegas, we say a bittersweet goodbye to our annual international
Chinese martial arts tournament.
20th Anniversary
We would like to thank all the people who made our tournament possible
over the years, competitors and their parents, judges, volunteers and
support staff, dignitaries and special guests from all over the world, first
timers and martial arts masters. Thank you to the Shaw JCC and its staff
for providing its facility for the last six years to host our tournaments.
With great respect for the JCC, we ask that no outside food be brought
into the building.
We especially need all qualified masters and competitors to attend this year
to help ensure our final tournament is successful. Please plan to attend. We
hope to see you in Akron on Aug 13, 2016!
