Land Rover LR2 deals with the rough as easily as it delivers the smooth. That’s because it’s ready to take on tough
terrains and conditions with long-established Land Rover qualities such as excellent entry/departure angles and
outstanding ground clearance as well as taking full advantage of the most modern off-road driving aids. The Terrain
Response system allows the driver to select one of four settings appropriate to the conditions – Grass/Gravel/Snow,
for example, and adjusts the vehicle’s powertrain and traction control systems to maintain momentum.
Hill Descent Control is an aid that helps with the safe descent of steep slopes. Land Rover’s Gradient Release Control
helps ensure smooth hill starts whether ascending or descending.

Power, performance and torque. Land Rover LR2 has been updated with Land Rover’s state-of-the-art
2.0 liter cylinder turbocharged engine.
This new 2.0 liter engine utilizes the latest technology to provide performance greater than that of the
3.2 liter engine it replaces, lowering fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Land Rover’s legendary Command Driving Position is an intrinsic part of the

maneuvering and parking in urban environments. The driver’s seat is also optimized
for comfort and support with armrests and six-way adjustment as standard.
The steering wheel can be adjusted for recline and reach ensuring that you can

From comfortable seating to cavernous stowage, the versatile rear loadspace of Land Rover LR2 adapts
to your needs. easily adjustable, the space can be expanded by folding one side of the 60:40 split rear
seats to provide a flat load floor. Or, with both seats folded, a practical loadspace area is available.
With 39.3 inches (one meter) between the wheel arches there’s room for the most awkward loads.

INFOTAINMENT
The instrument pack, with its contemporary graphics and standard seven inch color Touch-screen, provides
key information at a glance, while joystick controls on the steering wheel are at your fingertips to operate
it. Models with optional navigation also feature voice control using spoken commands to operate the
infotainment system.
Intuitive menus makes navigation easy and along with GPS information, the audio system and hands-free
telephone are all controlled from this central system.

SAFETY
A host of technology and sophisticated primary safety systems are packed into Land Rover LR2.
A strong monocoque body and inner safety cell, protected by meticulously engineered front and rear crumple zones, are designed
to absorb energy on impact. While high-strength steel is used in the construction of the body, dual-phase steel, which requires
special pressing because of its resilience, is found in key components such as the front windshield pillars and lower side sills.
The result is a weight efficient safety cell.
Advanced stability control systems which can reduce engine torque and apply specific braking forces to each individual wheel,
provide both stability and capability where you need it. So whatever obstacles might come your way, Land Rover LR2 helps give
you increased control.
Large disc brakes on every wheel help provide outstanding stopping power and are designed to adapt continuously and
instantaneously to conditions.

FRONT SEAT AND TRIM MATERIALS. The standard trim colors are available in Ebony and Almond. The driver’s seat
provides excellent support with standard six-way adjustment. The HSE LUX Package includes Premium Windsor leather in
Ebony and Almond as well as two additional colors Ivory and Tan. Additional options† include driver’s seat memory package
and driver’s seat eight-way adjustment.
CENTER CONSOLE STORAGE. The rear of the center console features an additional storage box for small items,
a 3.5mm auxiliary socket for MP3 players and a power socket, which can be used to recharge PCs and other low-wattage

capability. Any of the four programs – General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts or Sand – can be easily selected.
In addition all vehicles with Terrain Response are also fitted with Hill Descent Control and Land Rover’s Gradient
Release Control systems.
PASSIVE START AND START/STOP BUTTON. The convenient Passive Start system automatically detects the
close proximity of the key, allowing use of the Start/Stop button without the key being docked in the vehicle.

REMOTE CONTROL KEY. The remote control includes the following functions: locking and unlocking of the doors
and tailgate, a 30 second courtesy headlamp delay and activation of alarm.

PERFORMANCE WITH EFFICIENCY. The new 2.0 liter Four Clylinder Turbocharged engine provides state-of-the-art
turbocharged efficiency with the refinement and performance associated with a six-cylinder engine.
SAFETY**. High-strength steel is used to construct a strong monocoque body and inner safety cell protected by front
and rear energy absorbent crumple zones. Seven airbags are fitted as standard on all vehicles. There are separate driver
and front passenger airbags for head and chest protection as well as side airbags for side impact protection.
Full-length curtain airbags help to provide head impact and rollover ejection protection for all occupants.
Land Rover LR2 also features a driver’s inflatable knee airbag for additional lower body protection.
