1. When any candidate
for election
desires
to
have the particulars
about his candidature
printed
in the Official Bulletin
on Careers, he must present,
according
to Form 1 given separately,
an application therefor
togetherwith two copies of the
statement,
to Chairman of the Electoral
Adminisfrlative
Committee
for Election
to the House of
Concillors
from National
Constituency.
Article
2. The statement
must be written in Chinese
characters
and katakana
or hiragana,
employing
punctuation
marks,
small
circles,
hooks
and
brackets,
but not marginal notes, signs, drawings,
diagrams or photographs.
Punctuation
marks, small circles,
hooks
or
brackets
shall not be counted
in the number of
words prescribed
under Article
42, par. 2 of the
Ordinance
relative
to the Enforcement
of the
House of Councillors
Election
Law (hereafter
referred to simply as Ordinance).
Article
3. When any candidate
for election
desires
to
withdraw or amend the statement already presented,
he must suKmit an application
therefor
to Chairman

publication
of the official bulletin
on his career
shall not be discontinued
after the copies of the

have, in accordance with the provisions
