equipment or other tangibles for any purpose other than outdoor display that is exterior to any permanent fully enclosed building or structure The outdoor storage regulations apply to items stored outside of an enclosed building or structure when the items are not accessible to the general public They also apply to junk and auto salvage yards contractor storage yards and other similar uses Outdoor sale to display is defined as areas outside of a completely enclosed building or structure used to display goods for the general public that are part of and subordinate to the retail establishment such as garden supplies and building supplies Performance Standards No outdoor with the a b display or outdoor storage shall be conducted outside of an enclosed building unless the use complies following provisions and limitations except as may otherwise be permitted by this ordinance Fire lanes and or maneuvering isles shall be kept clear for vehicular and pedestrian maneuvering Outdoor storage and display may take place where designated off street parking spaces the minimum amount of required off street parking is maintained on the property are located as long as c Any work and we assisted with the logistics ofbringing companies out to do some surveying and core sampling work We continue work with them and anticipate final word on this project at the beginning of July After Project Swiss received our initial Palestine Workforce Education representatives attended the open house for the TVCC Center and discussed partnership opportunities to continue to grow the programs available through this center We also attended the Lakeview Methodist Camp ribbon cutting for their new meetinglbanquet facility and continue work with them on how to utilize their resources to help promote tourism opportunities in our region PEDC large portion of the month was spent preparing for and attending the Industrial Assets Managers Conference in Bastrop TX This event brings together site selectors economic development directors and corporate real estate representatives for major industries across the United States and Canada We built relationships with several asset managers and site selectors and will continue to maintain contact so they will think of our community the next time they are locating a new operation The number of economic developers allowed membership in this organization is limited so the ratio of site selectors and real estate executives to ED professionals time with the decision makers at the networking and educational ensures we get one on face sessions Their next meeting will be held in October in Omaha NE A efforts with site visits We had one set up for each week but some got cancelled at the last minute and will be rescheduled for a later date We did make a visit to Comet School Supplies and learned about some interesting new products in their future They have been in business in Palestine since the 70s and employ around 35 people We continued our business retention and expansion project we started working on was the planning for a small business forum to be held in s Office of Economic Development We had an initial conference conjunction with the Governor call to go over details with them and began work to submit our preliminary proposal If s 000 in grant money from the Governor approved we will be eligible to
