PROJECT BRIEF
In line with the strategy of Supreme Council of
Energy, District Cooling is a viable tool to reduce
energy consumption of the built environment
and target a 40% penetration in the Emirate
of Dubai. EMPOWER is world’s leading entity
when it comes to development and provision of
efficient district cooling services. EMPOWER’s
energy efficient and thereby emission reduction
measures will be made eligible under the
UNFCCC by Dubai Carbon, to generate
carbon credits. For this a new and unique CDM
Methodology specific to district cooling is being
developed.
