Arrive at Pentagon Parking Lot 10:00 AM Rolling Thunder XXVIII, Washington, D.C. DRAFT 12:00 Noon 5/17/2016 DRAFT 5/17/2016 DRAFT 5/17/2016 DRAFT 5/17/2016 2016RideofthePatriots Parade Staging Team Coordinator: Rick Richardson (Cell: 703-475-9462) Parade & Program Team Lead: Steve Fred (Cell: 703-598-2869) Staging Location: Capt. Pell’s Parking Lot Arrive May 25th between 7:00am and 7:15am. Parade departs promptly at 7:20 am. Parade Line-up and Departure (Front to Back) 7:05 a.m. – Police Sweep Ride from Capt. Pell’s. City of Fairfax Motor Squad County Motor Squads: Fairfax County Police and Fairfax County Sheriff Sheehy Car with sign indicating that Police, Fire & Rescue and EMT bikes follow. The jeep returns to Propane Dealer – does not return for the parade. Fairfax County and City of Fairfax Fire & Rescue, EMT, and Police motorcycle riders on their private M/Cs. 7:10 a.m. – PH-D/Fairfax H.O.G. Drill Team Team w/six motorcycles departs just before the pipe band and rides along the route and to the Draper/FFX Blvd. intersection for performance. 7:10 a.m. - Northern Virginia Firefighter’s Emerald Society Pipe Band Lead Car (Vintage Mustang) Leads the pipe band – very slowly – with signs “Northern Virginia Firefighter’s Emerald Society Pipe Band” and “Northern Virginia Mustang Club” Note: Pipe Band starts at 7:10 a.m. just behind the sweep ride and marches the route to Anchor Inn, then stops and allows the Honor Guard and FHOG Flag to pass. The Pipe Band rejoins the parade in front of the #1 Car and marches the rest of the route with the main body of the parade to PH-D parking lot. The lead car parks at Hacienda El Paso – does not return for the parade. 7:20 a.m. - Departure from Capt. Pell’s. Armed Forces Color Guard Honor Guard City of Fairfax County Sheriff Fairfax H.O.G Flag Motorcycle with Passenger (Joe Pounder) Northern Virginia Firefighter’s Emerald Society Pipe Band (at Anchor Inn) as noted above. #1 Car (Vintage Jeep or Sheehy Car) Occupied by Keynote Speaker: SSG Granville #2 Car (Vintage Mustang) Occupied by Les Evans (CoB RT VA 3) #3 Car (Vintage Mustang) Occupied by City of Fairfax Mayor Scott Silverthorne #4 Car (Sheehy Car) Occupied by Fairfax City Councilmembers Jeff Greenfield & Nancy Loftus #5 Car (Vintage Mustang) Occupied by Fairfax City Councilmembers Ellie Schmidt & Michael Demarco #6 Car (Vintage Mustang) Occupied by Virginia State Delegate David Bulova #7 Car (Sheehy Car) Occupied by State Senator Chap Peterson #8 Car (Vintage Mustang) Occupied by US Congressman Gerry Connolly Remaining Mustangs – if any Honor Guard City of Fairfax Firefighters City of Fairfax Fire Engine City of Fairfax Hazmat Unit Fairfax County Fire Engine Fairfax County Rescue Unit Fairfax High School Marching Band NOTE: One Sheehy Car will remain at the Propane dealer to shuttle dignitaries to/from Capt.
