The special gusset folding of VBA 70T SRG allows it to be positioned accurately inside hollow parts. After application of the vacuum, the film expands to fit the shape of the part. This makes it very useful in applications with variations in the inner diameter of the part. This procedure is suitable for applying internal pressure to parts with smaller diameters, where the insertion of standard film tubes can be difficult. 2) CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS PROPERTY VALUES METHOD Thickness μm 70 ± 15 % Width Nom. -0 +2 % Colour Green Longitudinal tensile strength 50 N/mm2± 15 % ASTM D882 Transverse tensile strength 42 N/mm2± 15 % ASTM D882 Longitudinal elongation at break 445% ± 15 % ASTM D882 Transverse elongation at break 350 % ± 15 % ASTM D882 Maximum operating temperature +170° C 3)PACKAGING VBA 70T SRG is available in rolls with a standard heights of mm/in *80/3.15, *100/3.94, *150/5.91, 250/9.84, 300/76.2, 450/114.3 and length of 200 m - Tube *Gusseted 4) STORAGE, SHELF-LIFE All the nylon-based films are sensitive to humidity which changes their flexibility. The rolls must be stored and used at a temperature of about 20° C and relative humidity between 55% and 65%. VBA 70 SG LT is in fact particularly resistant to the high level of manipulation and traction that occurs during the above infusion processes. The special composition of the sheets retains the flexibility of the bag even in low-humidity areas and periods. In this way, the VBA 70 SG LT bag guarantees perfect impregnation of the tissues and significant reduction of waste and emissions in any operating conditions, as well as excellent aesthetic quality of the manufactured product. 2) CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS PROPERTY VALUES METHOD Thickness µm 70±15% *80±15% Length 6 m and 8 m Colour Light green ASTM D882 Longitudinal tensile strength > 35 MPa ASTM D882 Longitudinal elongation at break > 330 % Maximum temperature +120° C 3)PACKAGING VBA 70 SG LT is available in rolls with a standard height of: *6000 mm x 125 m - *8000 mm x 105 m - **10000 mm x 75 m - **12000 mm x 75 m**16000 mm x 70 m - Sheet Gusseted 4) STORAGE, SHELF-LIFE VBA 70 SG LT is a hydrophilic material, and the water can act as a plasticizer. Therefore, it is important that the material is stored in a humidity-controlled environment. In its original condition, and in well-ventilated environments with controlled humidity and temperatures between + 5° C and + 25° C, VBA 70 SG LT has a validity of 12 months from the packaging date. SPRAY TACK 5 is formulated with raw materials that are perfectly compatible with the resins used in infusion processes, and it dissolves in them quickly without altering the polymerization kinetics or the final mechanical properties of the product. Even if too much adhesive is used, it does not affect the inter-laminar adhesion of the cloths. The amount of SPRAY TACK 5 to use depends on the type of surface and the weight of the material. Non-absorbent surfaces like Gel Coat or glass resin moulds only need a small amount of SPRAY TACK 5. Porous and very absorbent surfaces like fibreglass cloth (biaxial, coupled) need around 1 kg per 60-100 m2. In this type of use, a spray can covers a surface of about 15-25m2. SPRAY TACK 5 contains a blue colorant for easier control of the amount being applied, which then disappears during the polymerization process. 2) INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE From a distance of about 20-30 cm apply an even layer of SPRAY TACK 5 on one or both the surfaces being coupled. The time SPRAY TACK 5 needs to develop all its adhesive properties depends on the atmospheric conditions and the thickness of the applied layer – generally it takes between 30 seconds and a few minutes, after which the cloth can be positioned so that it adheres perfectly to the layer beneath, and then the operation is repeated for all the other layers. For a few minutes after the first application, the cloth can still be repositioned. The amount of SPRAY TACK 5 to use depends on the type of surface and the weight of the material. Apply SPRAY TACK 5 in well ventilated areas, and wearing suitable protection equipment. 3)PACKAGING SPRAY TACK 5 is available in 500 ml spray cans. 4) STORAGE, SHELF-LIFE When stored in its original packaging in a dry and ventilated place, at temperatures between +15° C and +25° C, SPRAY TACK 5 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production. Warning: do not heat the spray can above 50° C.
