difference in our lives. Please consider a season subscription to
all our concerts, invite your friends and family, and join me in

and ever-more diverse audiences.

Welcome to the San Juan Symphony, everyone! And thank you
for welcoming me into the fabulous Four Corners community.
We have so much to look forward to this year—my first season
as your new Music Director. Whether you are new to the
Symphony or you have been listening for years, you won’t want
to miss a single moment of this music. The magnificent Brahms
Requiem promises to have a resounding emotional impact, and
Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue brings out the fun and fancy side
of any orchestra. With Mozart, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, and the
whirring thrill of Bartók, there are so many distinct musical
experiences to share. I am excited to introduce our amazing
roster of guest artists, and to deliver the kind of energetic
conducting that will reinvigorate our audiences and musicians.

The San Juan Symphony goes Full Throttle with Frautschi, celebrating the
Grand Finale of our historic 31st Season. Two-time Grammy nominated
violinist Jennifer Frautschi makes her San Juan Symphony debut in
Tchaikovsky’s monumental Violin Concerto—a passionate and fiery work
once deemed too difficult for performance. Channeling Frautschi’s energy,
Jennifer Frautschi
the San Juan Symphony’s fearless musicians become the soloists in Bartók’s
triumphant Concerto for Orchestra, a visionary masterpiece that showcases the agility of the
orchestra and paints a folksy portrait of modern music.
