HULL
Roundbilge, the hull and the superstructure are made of aluminum ALMG 4,5
type 5083, H116/H321/W28 (american bureau of shipping). The extrusions are
made of aluminum type 50ST and 51ST.
The hull skin plates are made of 6mm aluminium and deck, superstructure and
pilothouse are made of 5mm aluminium. The keel casing is made of 10mm and
engine supports of 15mm aluminium. Ballast: lead in keel and bilge, total 4,7
tons. The rudder system (two balance rudders) with Jefa self-aligning heavy
duty bearing system. Atlantic sailing yachts are build according the highest CEstandards (Ocean class) for pleasure yachts.
DECK AND
SUPERSTRUCTURE
The complete superstructure, pilothouse, deck and cockpit are made of
aluminium, which makes this a very strong construction together with the
aluminium roundbilge hull. The cockpit is selfdraining through generous ducts
and opening to the swimming platform. This yacht pilothouse provides an
excellent comfort and shelter at sea.
INSULATION
The inside of the ship is complete insulated
with 40 mm polyurethane hard foam
insulation (closed cell structure) from
floor upwards, fireclass B2.
ENGINE ROOM
The main engine is mounted on antivibration mounts and engine room inside
is installed with Mercoform combination
sheet. This sheet insulates ánd absorbs
at the same time. The engine room is
designed to ensure good access to the
engine. There are pipes installed to ensure
generous fresh air circulation.
2
PAINT SYSTEM
The hull and superstructure will be covered with an epoxy coating system of
“International Paint”. The topsides has a smooth finish, the bottom is treated
with anti-fouling. Colours, waterline, lettering of
the name and homeport are performed according to
buyers choice. Coating treatment is supervised and
warranted by “International Paint”.
All woodwork inside is treated with six
coats of high quality satin gloss PU varnish. The deck
has been treated with non-slip paint.
MAST AND RIGGING
ENGINE
Yanmar 4JH4TE, 75 Hp, 55,2 kW, mounted on anti-vibration mounts. Clutch, power
transmission to propeller shaft with Aquadrive/homokineet adapter and connection
flens. Intercooling system, exhaust with water jacket, water lock and silencer.
Oil lubricated propeller shaft. Fixed bronze 3-blade propeller. Engine panel with
tachometer, temperature meter, ignition control, hours counter, control lights with
alarm sound for temperature, oil pressure and alternator.
The engine will further be equiped with 12V / 75Amp alternator and 24V / 75Amp
alternator for the electrical 12 and 24 volts system on board.
The build in fueltank has a capacity of ± 640 liter. The fuel system will be equipped
with Racor Dual Spin-on filter system. This filter system provides twice the filtering
capacity, has an self-venting drain for easy servicing and also has shut-off valve
located in the mounting head to switch easy over to a clean filter when problems
appear with dirty fuel.
SEA COCKS
All used seacocks are from Flowtech. These are thru hull performance valves and
valve pipe can be faired smooth to the boater’s outer skin so that when the valve
is closed, the internal plunger and valve creates a flush, fair & fast outer surface.
These seacocks are made of Marelon®.
ZINC ANODES
2 big round zinc anodes (225mm) are integrated in the hull and two smaler in
rudder blades. The construction in the hull/rudders and shape of these anodes
reduces the resistance in the water to a minimum.
