NEW YORK CITY
FREEDOM TOWER
“The Return of
The Kangaroo
Cranes”
The New York City Freedom Tower
will stand 1,776 feet tall on the site
of the former World Trade Center.
Construction on the tower, which
will have a cubic base, is slated be
ready for occupancy by 2010. Early
estimates are that the tower will
cost USD2.88 billion to build.
On site are currently 2 units of high
speed diesel driven Favelle Favco
M760’s. The cranes will be capable
of lifting a maximum of 64 tonnes
and a maximum speed of 120m/
min. The machine will have
a powerpack pushing 525HP.
We are proud to return the
“Kangaroo cranes” back to the
former World Trade Centre site
and be involved with the rebuilding
of this beacon of freedom.
