“Coach Mike is a natural with the kids.” Mike’s experience as a Montgomery
County teacher is a plus when it comes to coaching. Mike not only works
with players on their skills, hockey knowledge, and sportsmanship, he does
so in an educated and professional manner. A native of northern New
York, having played for both a NY high school and the SUNY Potsdam
Bears Club, Mike has been actively involved in hockey for 28 years. He
is currently a player, coach, private hockey instructor, as well as Assistant
Hockey Director. As a former Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School
instructor, Mike brings a strong knowledge of stickhandling and deking to
our program. Mike is a USA Hockey Level 4 coach, teacher, husband to
Kristin and father to aspiring young hockey players, Braedan and Kellan.
