Mamma Mia is a song written and performed by ABBA
that along with a number of other ever-popular songs
was turned into a West End/Broadway musical back in
1999. Written by English playwright Catherine Johnson and composed by Benny Andersson and Bjorn, the
play was translated onto film starring Meryl Streep and Colin Firth among other famous stars. Earlier this
year, the musical became the 9th longest running Broadway musical of all time. On its international tour,
the musical will make a stop-over in Dubai in January 2015.

Yet another endurance race lasting a whopping 24 hours at the Autodrome.

This is a 24 hour endurance race that pits drivers
against time and each other to last through the entire
race. Held at the Autodrome, Dubai Motorcity for the
first time back in 2006, it has since, been hosted each
year for a total of nine times since then, making this
their tenth race.
A wide variety of ‘tin top’ touring cars, GTs and 24HSpecials (e.g. silhouette cars) are eligible to race, from ‘hot hatchbacks’ up to proper GT3 machinery and
purpose-built race cars. An established structure of classes and liberal technical regulations allow teams
to compete without having to change their cars for the 24H SERIES, thus helping them to save costs.

of the best works of writer Sampooran Singh
Kalra, known to readers by his pen-name Gulzar. This includes Karaashein on the first day of the fiesta. It

meter race is designed for Junior and
Senior swimmers and will see professional
swimmers from all over the world meet in
