Governing Body meetings are conducted 3 times in a year and Advisory Body are
conducted at least 4 in a year.
e) Nature & Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs /
improvements
All the staff members are involved in administrative as well as academic
committees and given proper exposure to expand their understanding of functioning.
Student’s views and suggestions are welcomed to carryout improvement. Students
are asked to give feedback based on certain aspects of staff such as punctuality,
regularity, communication skill, and knowledge of the respective subject of the
teaching staff. Regular interaction with students is done by the student’s section to
understand their problems.
f) Mechanism / Norms & Procedure for democratic / good Governance.
Advisory body meets regularly and issues are discussed. It is ensured that
Total transparency in conduct is maintained. Powers have been delegated at
appropriate level.
g) Student Feedback on Institutional Governance / faculty performance.
Students are encouraged to put their suggestions in suggestion boxes in all
the departments. Issues which cannot be resolved at departmental level are brought
to the notice of Principal during staff meeting. Feedback from students about faculty
is obtained. This feedback is discussed with the staff and they are asked to
consolidate strong points and remove weaknesses observed.

as and when required to address grievances.

1.15) Counseling / Mentoring:
Each faculty member is assigned a group of students to take care of their
educational and emotional needs. The faculty members keep a track of
students' attendance and performance level in examinations and offers
counseling whenever necessary. Telephone numbers of these faculty
members are made available to the parents.
Career Counseling:
The training and placement department prepares the students for on
campus recruitment. The training comprises of soft skills like
communication skills and interview techniques.
Medical facilities:
The Institute has tied up with a leading hospital in the vicinity to admit
any of our students on presentation of Identity Card. A doctor visits
frequently to institute and hostel. Institute vehicle is provided to shift any
student to hospital.
1.16) Students Activity Body :
Cultural activities:
Our students regularly participate in cultural Activities. Several
prizes are won by our students in these activities.
Sports activities:
Modern Gymnasium, Outdoor Games and facilities for Indoor
games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc. are available. Our students
participate in sports competitions at intercollegiate, university and state
level.
Magazine / Newsletter:
The institute publishes an annual magazine for last many years without any
interruption.
Technical activities / Tech Fest:
The institute organizes a technical Aptitude Test at College
level. Our students also participate in such festival organized by other
Institutes and win prizes.
