Xactics products are made from polyethylene resins
that are approved for use in the food industry by the
F.D.A. / U.S.D.A.
The polyethylenes used in the manufacturing process
are prepared according to our specifications, with the
necessary additives such as ultraviolet (UV) stabilizers,
antioxidants, colour, and others according to the
physical demands required for different products.
(Example: resistance to impact at low temperatures and
stress cracking.)
FEATURES
• Monolithic construction made by rotational moulding
process.
• Strong, no joints, no leaks.
• First quality polyethylene resin, UV treated to extend life of
the tank.
• No painting, no maintenance, no corrosion.
IMPORTANT
Temperature Specificity
and Chemical Compatibility
• -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 50°C)
• Specific gravity up to 1.5
• The tanks can be used at higher intermittent
temperatures.
• Ensure that the polyethylene is compatible with the
chemical products it will be in contact with.
• 1.5 - 12
If there are any questions,
consult the supplier of your
chemical products.
Before using your tank:
1. Inspect the tank visually for any damage caused during
transportation.
2. These tanks should not be used under pressure or
vacuum.
3. Rest the tank solidly on its whole base.
4. Support the sides of rectangular tanks measuring
more than 18” high. However, lower tanks should
be supported according to the density and the
temperature of the products they will be storing.
5. Do not store heavy equipment items on the walls of
the tanks and containers.
6. Do not put weight or pressure on the joints or the
tubing
7. Use expansion joints to avoid any tension from
expansion and contraction on the tubing.
